Location

No AC in beach view room_ then couldn't open big window due to torrential wind & rain. Stayed in single room 1st no window to see out if rain stopped or weather improved. Since no window. TV weather channel or area channel of info could have been nice.

The location on the beachfront at La Kontxa (Concha) Beach is marvelous. The hotel's charming renovation and character. And the helpful staff. Couldn't imagine a better place to stay!

I loved this hotel I would go there anytime I have the opportunity to visit San Sebastián again. Aitziber at the desk was so terrific. Actually, all of the staff were excellent! The elevator, which I think would be considered art nouveau, the really nice sized room, with wrap around windows that you could actually open overlooking the street! Clean and modern bathroom. Sorry I missed having dinner there. I looked into the bar/restaurant area after having gone out and the food look great and prices were very good.

One thing I wasn't crazy about but think is inescapable anywhere near the beach in San Sebastián is the 20+euro daily parking fee... is not specific to this hotel...just something to be aware of anywhere of.

Amazing view of La Concha. Very clean and friendly staff. Itzber was amazing she wrote my bf a letter for his birthday as requested and was overall amazing customer service.

Uncomfortable beds/pillows, lack of air conditioner is a problem-as it is too noisy and warm to sleep with open window, no coffee/tea in room, no safe deposit box.

Location was amazing. We loved the restaurant and the elevator too.

We could hear our neighbors talking and coughing like they were in the same room.

Excellent location, about midway between Miramar Palace & Old Town entrance. Pay for the sea view, it’s totally worth it. Let the crashing waves lull you to sleep. Comfortable well-appointed room and friendly very helpful staff. Restaurant is an excellent choice for breakfast (we didn’t eat dinner there)

get the room with the view of the sea, it is infinitely better than the room that faces the other side. This is probably one of the best views I've ever had, and it is so nice to fall asleep to the ocean waves. They recently renovated the rooms and bathrooms so it looks much nicer than the photos online. The restaurant downstairs was pretty good too! They also had two bikes we were able to take around town. The beach being right in front of the hotel is a great bonus. Overall, this was the perfect place for our first stay in San Sebastian.

if I had to be picky, I would say it is a little far from Old Town, a 15 minute walk. But after a night out eating pintxos, the walk might be a good thing

-Rooms are on the small side, but well equipped.

Loved the location, right on La Concha beach four down far enough from old town that it wasn't too crowded or loud at night. Slept well, staff were very helpful and informative. We arrived around 11pm starving and they had a great recommendation for dinner nearby, 24/ front desk was great!

Really enjoyed my stay, not much not to like.

loved the location, the room on the water, the cleaning service, the buffet, and the quaint elevator and the fact they have parking if you bring a car. GLad I got lucky and called ahead, because parking would be impossible without it!

I really should learn more spanish, but most of the staff with the exception of one woman at the front desk were just a little bit cold. Maybe it's because of some of the political landscape but not all of us reflect the politics of the US.
