Hotel Arbaso

Modern design, great location

Small rooms and high price for what you get

very conveniently located.

The room felt a bit smaller than what was shown on the description. The assigned room had a window facing neighbor apartments (somewhat close). We couldn't keep curtain open due to privacy. I expected better for the cost.

Room obviously new and super clean

Great location, very friendly staff and a lovely restaurant.

Very clean, staff was very helpful, great location, would stay there again.

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Our room was fantastic, generous in size and very well presented. Staff absolutely lovely and welcoming. Could not have asked for anything more.

Pristine!! Love the decor - Japanese decor with a beautiful color scheme. Beautiful rooms, prefect amenities, classy and knowledgeable staff. The lighting is inspiration worthy. Location is fantastic! Can’t expect any more! I rate it a 5star.

Nothing!

The room looks even better than the photos, which is very rare nowadays. It is spacious and clean. The furnishings are built with good quality materials and in good maintenance. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. I can tell that they have a very good SOP for everything.

This was a last min. change of hotels for one night. They made it easy and accommodated my early chk in, so no complaints here!

There was nothing I didn’t like, so nothing was wrong.

Great location, friendly staff, and wonderful service. Property is clean and the best shower we have ever had!!!!

Lovely decor, very comfortable beds, great location, and the staff was wonderful

Location was perfect nice and quiet for sleeping but close and walkable to everything. The on-site Michelin restaurant was excellent.

Conveniently located near the beach and old town.

Finding the breakfast was a little confusing; be sure to ask.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to the old town and convenient for exploring San Sebastián.

I stayed at Hotel Arbaso in August 2025 and had a very disappointing experience. The main issue was with their laundry service. The hotel lists laundry at 16,30 € per item, which strongly suggests professional dry cleaning or at least wash & press. Instead, my clothes were returned wash & fold, extremely wrinkled, and ruined by a harsh hot wash. Several new garments shrank or lost their color completely. When I raised this with the front desk, I was told “nobody would pay 16,30 € per item” and that’s why they apply a 50% discount—something never made clear when ordering. Before checkout I showed the staff the ruined clothes, but they said there was nothing they could do. Later, management denied responsibility entirely, insisting it was “just regular laundry” like at home—even though this was never stated anywhere.Instead of resolving the issue, the hotel refused compensation and left me with hundreds of euros in damages. This is not the service one expects from a property that markets itself as upscale. Guests should be aware that the hotel does not provide professional cleaning, and if your clothes are damaged, they will not take responsibility.

The skylights with retractable shades on the top floor were really nice, and the valet parking (while somewhat expensive) is really convenient after a long trip. And the toilets have bidets!

The brautiful ceiling windows that bathe the duplex with light. The convenience of having two bathrooms in the room, as well as two T.V. sets. The quality of the pillows and the duvet. The courtesy snacks and drinks. The location and the views.

Excellent nights sleep on super comfy beds . Great location in good part of town . Charming staff.

I thought the breakfast service and food did not quite live up to the standard of the rest of the hotel .

Excellent location, superb view on Cathedral, cool furniture, great shower/bathtub/toilet, very helpful staff, Michelin rated restaurant

Great rooms, staff was helpful. Restaurant was exceptional.Location was perfect.

Location, reception staff and room/housekeeping were great. Bar staff less interested in serving, so ate and drank out.

Roadworks - definitely should have been advised prior to stay

More comfortable pillows. They are too large and high. For me with a neck injury I had a hard time.

Location superb. So was the food.
