Hotel Puerta Santander

Room was clean; bathroom was spacious; very quiet

Wish they would have had adapter so I could have charged my phone, but I understand that they get stolen all the time, so they stopped doing it.

The place was nice, clean, staff was awesome at all times. Breakfast is 100% worth it. Lots of options for Amy allergy you may have.

The only small detail is pillows werecbot really comfortable.

Easy parking, free WIFI - room as advertised. Very clean.

Would have preferred tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Good overnight stopover for the Ferries to Portsmouth

There is a scrap metal recycling plant nearby and there is a somewhat unpleasant smell and metallic taste emitted from the place

Ideal for a short stay when you are getting on the ferry. The staff were friendly and our dog was made to fell very welcome. We'll definitely stay again :-)

Nothing really, it was all good.

Our room was spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed a glass of wine and a snack in the bar upon arrival, which was convenient after a very long and tiring drive. Loads of free, on-site parking.

The room was rather warm for the time of year. The hotel wasn’t easy to find but I’ll blame our satnav/Google maps for that! We would definitely stay again.

Location ideal. Staff very welcoming and informative, room clean comfortable and spacious. Breakfast had a good choice for continental and English. Evening meals provided a minimal selection for the occasional diner. Good Price

It was exceptionally clean & bright & within easy access to the ferry port

I think you need to state in the hotel info that there is no area inside at all where you can sit with your dog for a drink etc when the weather is bad— although, you do provide room service which compensates

The on line check in was not passed through to reception by booking.com so much time was wasted

Lovely hotel. Allows dogs at extra cost. Clean, near Brittany ferries port. Easy to find, free parking. Meal in evening was good. Friendly staff and dog park nearby.

Good location - welcoming staff - clean and comfortable room - delicious breakfast buffet with options for individually cooked hot items - excellent choice for arriving or departing ferry terminal - very dog friendly - near to a large dog park which was very clean, secure and well kept - I will certainly be booking this hotel again when in Santander

Great for parking our high van. They also stored our bikes for us. Very helpful. Beautiful hotel and room, bathroom luxurious. Very reasonable price. Nice touches like quality drinking glasses in our bathroom.

The smell around the area was bad and it came into the hotel rooms. Although the bathroom was outstanding, it needed a deep clean around the grouting in the shower.

friendly welcome, staff responded amicably to requests - room was v good - one downside was that because it was an extremely windy night and the window lock was faulty their was a lot of wind noise. But I got the impression that if we have commented they would have readily changed our room but we were both tired so into bed and straight to sleep

Clean, modern and welcoming. The decor throughout was fresh and modern. Bar service was excellent on the night of our stay and the barman very friendly.

Breakfast was a bit slow being served, coffee not great, and the hot section wasn't turned on, so everything went cold. There was no hot water in the room in the morning.

Close to airport

Hotel was a bit rundown and needed to be updated. But the worst was there was NO hot water in the shower!!! So I could not shower! Complained to the front desk but the young woman did not do anything nor did she apologize. Terrible attitude! !! Would never stay here again. Bad experience!

Superb location in terms of its closeness to Ferry Port, petrol station to fuel up before departure. Modern, clean, super quiet and extremely friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. The Smart TV was great as we could log into own media accounts to watch movies in English. Spacious, secure free carpark. Cannot rate it highly enough

For some the distance into Santander centre for shopping etc may be an issue. We chose to walk but in hindsight a taxi or bus might have been a better option. Evening meal option was simple and enough.

Comfortable room-nice bed and pillows. Excellent shower. Very nice staff. Water available on the floor.
