    Pros +

    • Comfortable room and bed. Great location for exploring. Helpful staff.
    • Excellent location with great sea views. Very helpful staff and great restaurant
    • I loved the hotel, the helpful staff, the location. Everything was perfect The only thing that was disappointing was the broken windows that made the room cold and noisy.

    Cons -

    • On site car park was expensive
    • The hotel was near perfect but I was very disappointed to find the sea front bedroom i stayed in, on the 4th floor was cold , and very noisy. The large windows were obviously broken. The windows need replacing/repairing without a doubt. Even when the windows were closed, the curtains would move with the draft. If the windows were repaired/replaced the hotel would be near perfect.
    • Very hard to open the balcony doorRoom quite small

Great value for money (although we stayed in low season so it was cheaper). Very spacious room with gorgeous big terrace and great view. Very helpful and friendly staff! Comfortable big bed.

It could use a bit of refurbishing/update and a bit more attention to toiletries (shower gel was empty) and sockets near the bed, but all in all very nice hotel.

Perfectly located just back from the promenade and the stunning Playa el Sardinero beach. Bedroom was well-equipped with modern amenities like air conditioning, flat-screen TV, internet, and minibar. A plus was the large balcony overlooking the bay. Public rooms, bar and terraces were very pleasant. Staff were always helpful. Secure car parking was available at an additional cost.

Our stay was out of season (November) and we found the restaurant choice to be limited to just a menu del dia.

Can see the sea from our room balcony!Nice clean and modern roomSecure parking. I’d stay again!!

    Secure parking

The dining room was a joke for dinner. Staff in and out of a cold room, leaving door open. Food was not good and totally without atmosphere

Everything was perfect, location, facilities, food and staff were very helpful.

Can't think of anything I didn't like we hope to come back

Overall, the hotel was good, albeit rooms a very tired and needing of refurbishment, this is relevant to first nights room, second night room was much better. Location was good, street parking, nice breakfast buffet

Small layout, no room to put out 2 suitcases. On our arrival the room AC was not working, hot day, informed reception, was a lovely and very helpful man) he could see on computer room AC not functioning, was on 28 deg, noising motor, we could not sleep, and hotel could not change our room as hotel was supposedly full. They did have has move to another room on same floor for second night which was lovely, evidently refurbished. Reached out for some compensation for the first night, as Front desk noted he would contact his manager as he thought that was reasonable, when we checked out, informed new front office lady, she too noted she would reach out to Manager. Been now home 3 weeks have sent 3 follow up emails, to no reply.

Room is clean and spacious. Staff are excellent. Food is great. Been coming to this hotel for 10 years and it just gets better. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. We love it!

Room terrace. Hotel location next to beach and several good restaurants.

    9TerryPosted on: 10-5-2025

The location close to the beach was ideal. The food was good with a very reasonable set menu every evening.

We had been to this property in the past three or four times, so that’s why we chose it. Seems a bit pricy though!

    Needs a bit of TLC.

Great location for several beaches and the royal park. Clean rooms, powerful shower, nice terrace for drinks. Great views and great value. However, the restaurant was a surprise. It was excellent, a fantastic menu del dia with three courses, four choices per course, a decent rioja and coffee and water. The food was delicious and fantastic value - all over the above for 26 euros per head. Unbeatable. One of our best meals anywhere.Lots of parking available out of season on street as well as their off-street car park.

    Not a lot

    10MarkPosted on: 10-3-2025

We had a corner room with a large balcony looking out to sea, the staff were all friendly and helpful. Food was good and the lunch menu was exceptional value. Good secure garage (slightly expensive) but worth it. Handy for walking to either the bech or the town. We stayed on after we had checked out for the lunch the 2nd day. Handy for the ferry port.

The options for snacks in the evening were very limited.

    9SusanPosted on: 9-17-2025

Very helpful staff on reception, the room was modern and nicely furnished. Good secure underground parking for our motorcycle.

    6ThomasPosted on: 9-8-2025

    Great views. Good balcony.

Small room. Too hot and air conditioning did not work. Most windows were locked.

    10HelenPosted on: 9-6-2025

Lovely location close to the beach .

Nothing , it’s our second stay and are planning to return .

    7AlicePosted on: 9-3-2025

Good location in El Sardinero. Fairly comfortable stay.

The hotel was pleasant and comfortable but overall feels quite tired, balcony smaller than expected, parking charged on top at 25 euro a day. Overpriced for what you get. Would expect greater comfort/views/more pleasant bar area to enjoy for these prices.
