Hotel Chiqui

This hotel has a lovely location by the beach and it's also well situated to walk into the city or take public transport. The staff are friendly and helpful. The ambience of the hotel is really lovely. There was lots of choice at breakfast and the bar and restaurant were also great, evening dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced.

The welcome on arrival and the upgrade to a room with a balcony was excellent, and special thanks to Jeimy. After a 3 day drive your smile and great service was just what we needed, thank you

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location overlooking the sea and parts of Santander. Modern spacious lobby and had a nice feel to it.

Very modern and clean. Ideal overnight stop after a late ferry arrival. Staff helpful and understanding.

It was cold, despite having radiators which didn’t appear to work. Air conditioning units provided some back ground heat, but not enough.

Staff were lovely, rooms were clean and well presented. Great location next to the beach and beautiful views from the rooms.

The location

The WiFi in our room was very poor and unreliable.The bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable, and I could feel the wires through the mattress.While the bedsheets were clean, there was an unpleasant odor coming from the pillow itself.

The hotel is situated in a busy area, once there it is beautiful

Parking was underground, paid extra with only a few spaces out the front (which are free)

Staff was excellent and the place where breakfast is served is great and I really liked the option to have natural orange juice

I did not have blankets for the night and wifi was not always working. Coffee in the breakfast was not home made/filter coffee.

Very well located, right next to the beach. Superb views on the ocean. Car parking very good and free in front of the hotel. Breakfast was great. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful.

The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful. The restaurant has a good choice of dishes and the outside area is very comfortable in fine weather. Facilities are good and there is private underground parking if required. We have stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints.

Strangely we were asked for a security deposit on towels for the pool. The pool has no access to public area outside so not sure what this policy was about. We were dressed for the pool and had no cash or cards.The outside seats in the breakfast seating area need to be updated.

Room was cold on arrival...Spoke to reception and problem with heating solved in around 30 mins...Then perfect...
