Well appointed hotel with generous sized room in short walking distance to the sea front

The location and the ease of finding the hotel

Finding the underground car park was difficult and they don’t publish the charges for the car park.

Amazing room, huge, with louge area, table and chairs, balcony overlooking sports stadium and the sea in the distance. Must have been recently decorated, even the shower's grouting was brilliant white with no mould. Really recommend this hotel, you can walk to the sea in 10 minutes and Santander old town in 25 minutes. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Great location, close to El Sardinero beach and beach bars. 1/2 mile walk into city if you use the tunnel.

Good location. Only a few minutes walk to the sea front and eateries.

View from our room was not great but we did have a lovely suite which was an upgrade.

The hotel provides a Kettle, but no Coffee , Milk or Sugar after the first morning and we stayed four nights.

Very clean, nice modern rooms.

Staff were extremely rude. The only nice staff were the receptionists. We were not allowed to sit downstairs to enjoy a drink in the evening. 11.30pm we were told every night that we had to be quiet and go to our rooms, leaving our drinks behind us. This is not what you expect going away on holiday.

Large room and comfortable bed. Coffee in lobby was good.

View was not good

The room was quite nice and so was the breakfast room.The HSK and breakfast staff were absolutely excellent.

I won't say much; there were minor issues, such as the shower hose needing maintenance. Other than that, everything was fine.

Staff were nice.

The Hotel is marketed as a 4 star but its more like a 2/3 star. It's old and tired and very expensive for what it is. Staff were very pleasant however.

We have stayed here on numerous occasions and it never disappoints. Close to El Sardinero beach and close to centre if you use the tunnel.

Location was good and close to the beach. On site parking was a plus

Air conditioning did not work during the night and shame nobody told us. Instead of battling with the console and having air being moved around we could have put it off and simply opened the window during the night

Food was good for half board, especially dinner. Breakfast was repetitive and not much to chose from. Position was very good close to the beach (800 m).Friendly staff tried to help.

Persistent bad odor from the sewers system. We didn't hear any extraction ventilation so the stench continuously built up event with the windows open.We changed the room but the new room had the same issue - no ventilation in the bathroom and the odor was bad.Also garage parking was paid separately 16 EUR/night. Available free spots outside in front of the hotel were very narrow and crowded.

Beautiful & very comfortable room. Lovely choice of food for breakfast, car parking spaces & helpful staff.

Large room with balcony

For some reason we did not receive the normal breakfast. We were asked to sit in the bar area and offered only a very limited breakfast.Also, in late afternoon we went into the bar wanting a drink and were told that the bar was closed and wouldn’t be open until 07.30pm

Very large rooms and easily accommodated 3 guests in one room. In a residential area and very quiet.

Location is a small walk to restaurants/ bars.
