Very friendly staff, great location for the Ferry Port.Very individual and attractive building .

Lack of a lift and we were on 3rd floor. Basic facilities but good value for what we paid.

Location great. Breakfast worth the money. If a bed and roof is what you're after for the night in an elegant vintage hotel prior to airport/ferry, this is the place.

Rooms on ground floor have no soundproofing, you can hear every footstep. No AC, which is bad when it's 30°C.

The price. The place has free parking. It is not downtown. It has a green area with a small playground for kids.

It is an old fashioned and very basic hotel.

Good breakfast. Comfy room.

No local cafes. No disabled access. Noise from local dogs.

Nice spacious rooms.Very close to the airport.

Bit of a trek into the city centre for sightseeing.

Seemingly an old country house forgotten on the outskirts of Santander, caught in a time warp between motorways, complete with perfectly manicured trees in the car park and knights armour. Friendly, clean, helpful.

One of the staff spoke good English and gave good advice on travel into Santander and using the bus. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable but we stayed in the quad room and the double bed is a double rather than king size. This was ok but a bit tight with 6ft 3 husband. No air con but there is a fan and radiator. Great parking for car and our folding caravan. Continental breakfast cereals/ toast/ coffee/ juice/ also had alternative miks which we appreciated. Ok selection especially for the price €3 for children and 5 Euros adults. You are short walk to the bus stop to get to Santander and taxi was 12-15 Euros. It's decor is quirky but we quite liked it. Small Local town is in walking distance had a few restaurants and we got a great menu del dia for 12 Euros.

The bathroom in the quad room had no shelves and nowhere to put anything. This means everything is on the floor. This could be very easily fixed. The tap fittings were also loose and no bath plug but again easy to solve.

A clean and tidy stopover in a quiet location for a night before catching the ferry. It's an easy short drive to Santander beaches or to the ferry port from here. Continental breakfast included was adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loads of onsite parking.

Access to the hotel down a lane is a little tight if you met someone coming in the opposite direction but don't let this put you off.

Location not too far from airport, large car park ( for those arriving by car) plus close to bus stop to get to city centre. Reasonable range for breakfast. Breakfast staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel in area with no other amenities...only 1 small bar ..so no option to eat close to hotel

Lovely clean family room, nice bathroom, balcony and a decent view with windows to the side of the house as well as the front balcony [top floor]. Excellent price which offered value for money.

No lift and we where on the third floor. Difficult to navigate to and nervous drivers may not like the narrow back roads. Quite some distance from most attractions in the area but this was reflected in the price. Not an ideal stop over if you are not in your own vehicle.

Hotel prices in the city were very expensive so this was a good option to go and enjoy the summer week and the beach rugby tournament. + price abs friendliness.

mosquitoes and beds made it challenge to sleep

The room decor was not very modern, but that is not the style of the hotel.The children loved the knight’s armour. Initially slightly difficult to find, but fine once we knew where to go.

Location, price, free parking in gated car park.

Super helpful staff ,good breakfast choice at 4€, all round good.

It is well signposted when you know, i drove past twice , probably looking too hard.

Quirky place to stay with great staff. Swings and a large lawn for kids to play on. Comfortable beds. Incredibly clean and well maintained.

Lack of air-con or fans in the rooms.

We arrived very late, but the reception staff were ready for us. Everyting went well, easy to find, easy to park. Room was great, we slept well. Next morning the breakfast was excellent, and the gardens and views, and neighbourhood were amazing. Very quiet.

We liked everything. There was nothing to dislike.

Big nice room and bathroom, fair breakfast, very decent crew.

We were in a rooftop room with slanted wall, natural light wasn't enough.
