Style & location

No mattress cover, only thin sheet.Parking facilities are not good.

The room was cute and confortable. We basically had 2 rooms in one... our double bed was on the first floor and my daughter's bed was in a mezzanine within the same room.

Location was it off but not bad.

Perfect place for a few days in Santander, very close to all restaurants and the shopping area. Especially for the elderly: Escalators from the bottom of the city almost all the way up to the hotel. Convenient for a trip with Grandma :-)

Electrics in room disfunctioned, but staff offered an alternative, but not of same quality.Decided to stay in room and were provided with free parking voucher.Staff where considerate of the situation which we appreciated but it did slight reduce quality of stay.But it is a beautiful hotel and I will return.

I rarely give 10s in a review. I will give 9s if I think something was very very good, but I usually find something that could be better; so I withhold the 10. Not this time. There was literally nothing that could have been improved with this stay.

The room had a refrigerator that wasn't working. Luckily, I didn't need to use it.

The room was very clean, tidy and well decorated

The service was lacklustre, the bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the plumbing and the buffet breakfast looked very bad. Cheese floating in water, old food, mouldy fruit in the fruit bowl.

Beautiful accommodations. Rooms fabulous, very comfortable room, very clean. All rooms individually named with individual decor. Lovely touches for my friends birthday. Great restaurants and coffee shops and great shopping city with nice sights to visit, really enjoyed.

The en-suite bathroom had a lingering smell of drains, although the shower, basin, etc, were all clean.

Beautiful hotel, staff were helpful, comfortable rooms and in a super location.

Our room had a phenomenal pitched roof timber ceiling a great bathroom and was very peaceful. It is slightly away from the city centre which is a plus. There is a series of travelators which is greatly appreciated when returning from daily activities.

The bathroom was excellent. The bedroom was a great size, but the pillows were too soft, so I needed to request more for the second night.

The television did not work, and there was no option to log in to your Netflix account. The coffee is not good.

Location is great, room was beautiful and spacious (room 319). Lift to all floors. Lovely bar on 1st floor with outside terrace. Decor is really lovely and pictures are as advertised. Staff always friendly. We know the area as been before and the hotel is just a few mins walk from some great restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend Agua Salada ( need to book).

Our room was too hot as room was up in the attic. Unable to keep windows open due to road noise, also smell of damp but room 319 was beautiful and had a large spacious bathroom. Hotel provided a dehumidifier which helped but AC would have been much better.

Out of our 2 weeks along the northern coast of Spain, this was one of our favorite places to stay! Beautiful hotel that is both historic and modern at the same time. We found it wonderfully located. The breakfast was definitely the best we had during this trip. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful aspect. There are really lovely common spaces as well.

Local hotel fairly close to bars and restaurants.

We booked a balcony room but the balcony really needs some maintenance. All the paint was coming away and it looked dirty.

Lovely, funky interior design. Very comfortable beds. Excellent location for access to shops, restaurants and beaches. As a single female I felt safe walking to and from the hotel in the evenings.

Due to central location, there is unavoidable noise from nearby restaurants and traffic on the small surrounding roads. To be expected in a town centre location.

Spotlessly clean hotel with a cool interior design.

We had requested a double room with balcony when booking. On arrival we were given a twin room and told that there were no available double rooms with a balcony left. There seemed to be very few guests in the hotel during our stay. It did not look busy at all.

Proximity to the town and bars, restaurants very good

No kettle or fridge in the room. Be aware of Outside noise on a Friday night/ weekend if you have to open windows for fresh air. Lack of air conditioning
