About

Hotel Boutique Las Brisas is a charming, family-run hotel located directly opposite Sardinero Beach, set in a beautifully restored 19th-century Indianos mansion, now converted into a boutique hotel. The property offers 13 individually decorated rooms in elegant classic English style. Rooms are cozy and compact (approx. 33 ft²), mostly single or double, some with balconies, and all top-floor rooms feature sea views. They are equipped with Smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and a private bathroom. Please note that the hotel does not have a elevator and rooms are accessed by stairs (some rooms are located on the ground floor). A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the dining room. Guests can enjoy a welcome wine upon arrival or complimentary tea and coffee in the library during the afternoon, as well as relax on the pleasant sun terrace. The hotel is located next to Sardinero Casino and close to Magdalena Palace, just 656 feet from Santander Sports and Exhibition Palace, 1.2 mi from Mataleñas Golf Course, a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal and 5 mi from the airport.

The house looks very nice, and the interior of the hotel and the room is also beautiful. Everything is in the old style and there are a lot of antiques. If you like that kind of thing, you'll be happy. But at the same time, you could feel the antiquity of these things.

Unfortunately, I waited about 40 minutes for me and the other guests to be given the room keys. I also expected more from the breakfast, but it was worth the money. So if you like to eat a lot for breakfast, it's better to choose another option.

Positive surprise! Stylish hotel, beautiful room with everything you need. Really clean and tidy. Excellent location only 2-3min to the beach and restaurants. I wish I could stay longer..

A great hotel in an excellent location. Rooms not massive but boutique describes it perfectly with bags of charecter.

Lack of wardrobe even though l was a single traveller.

Very nice, quirky hotel near the wonderful El Sardinero beach. A short bus ride to the centre of town. Lovely helpful staff.

Fantastic location very close to the beach. 10 min journey into town on the bus. Lots of local buses available. Quiet district, very nice hotel, good breakfast and pleasant staff

I loved all the paintings & old things. Quaint place. Clean , & comfortable bed.

The key to our door kept getting stück, but got it replaced. The chandelier ( light hanging from ceiling ) was so low that my husband hit his head on it ! We had to tie a towel around it, so it didn’t happen again. The bedhead made of sharp metal tulips was also a problem for my husband’s head !! , but cushions helped solve that problem. I caught my finger in the door handle of the bathroom , & now it’s turning black ! One evening when we came back to the hotel, the outside gate was locked ! We couldn’t ring anyone up, but finally my husband got his hand around the lock on the otherside of the gate & could open it from there.

Great location close to the beach. Decoration of room & common areas was nice. Good storage space in the room. Decent breakfast included.

The room was quite small & opposite reception so some noise experienced. Had a problem with shower leaking onto floor. No tea/coffee sachets in the room.

Previous reviewers weren’t joking when they said the rooms are small - I could touch all four walls from my bed! But, the location is great - I could see the sea and hear it and for under €80 a night September prices), so I was happy with that. Breakfast choice was decent - eggs, yoghurt, fruit etc. All the staff are nice, barring the querulous one who produces the breakfast. Overall, it’s a slightly eccentric hotel, but it defo has character!

My room needs some money invested in it - lights that don’t work, plug sockets broken, very outdated bed spread and curtains. It’s all liveable with, but it would make guests feel more valued. Breakfast at 8am (the sign says 8.15) is too late - 7am is much more practical if you want to make the most of the day.

Great location right by the beach. Very friendly staff.

Very small room. Breakfast was very basic, we only went the 1st morning despite having paid for 3 days. Reception not manned 24/7.

    Room was extremely small

This is such a charming boutique hotel, absolutely loved staying there. Specially for the local town fair! The owner was very nice and made the experience more authentic. Would definitely recommend!

    Rooms were small but comfortable.

This is a lovely little hotel and decorated in an old style which I love, there where lots of interesting pictures in the hallway and the stairs are impressive to look at - very close to the beach, its clean and the staff are nice (though they didn't really speak English-we got by)

I went there knowing the room was small - this wasn't an issue, however the size of the bed was - it only just fit us both in, was pushed up against the wall and had a dip on one side - I saw other rooms and the beds did look better positioned - we had a balcony, whilst the view was lovely only one person could go out at a time. The shower leaked every time we used it and flooded the room - which meant all toilet visits where under 2 inches of water. The safe didn't work and there was no fridge to store anything in.

Excellent location at the centre of the city. Very friendly staff

At the time we arrived, parking was a real challenge. We were not enormously impressed by the breakfast.

Location was good, close to the sea.

Tiny room on ground floor, no space, there was a tea tray with some old teabags but no milk or kettle. I asked and the kettle was in a drawer. Room was very tatty and tired.

We were a family of 4 staying at the hotel for 2 wks. Two adults and two teenagers. We loved the location. It was right across the road from the most fabulous beach. The hotel was small and quaint, also very clean. Location was very close to restaurants and busses into Santander. Breakfast was a continental breakfast and it was fresh and delicious. Any of the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We also took to bus to Bilbao which was only 90 mins away and we visited the Guggenheim museum.

This is minor bit the coffee at breakfast was cold every morning and had to be heated by microwave . There was a nespresso machine the first morning but it disappeared after that. Other than that minor fact everything was excellent. It might bother some people but there was no A/C.

Receptionist lady was extremely friendly and helpful.

The room was extra tiny, barely enough space to open our luggage. The shower door had an opening at the bottom and water flooded the bathroom immediately.
