    Pros +

    • The staff, location, cleanliness, and breakfast were wonderful.
    • The location is amazing, very close to everything. The hotel is beautifully decorated, our room was very comfortable, and the staff was helpful, professional, and very friendly. Highly recommended!
    • King Kresimir is ideally situated inside old town Sibenik. We were on a roadtrip and there was a very convenient public 24 hr garage roughly 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The room was spacious, the air conditioning and technology worked flawlessly, and the bathroom was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty as well.

    Cons -

    • The only downside would be no elevator but we are in our mid 70’s and did just fine.
    • Didn’t like having to use an iPad to turn off or on the lights, rather annoying.
    • There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like

Absolutely loved my stay! The staff - Petra and Kent—were outstanding: warm, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel itself is incredibly chic and classy, with a fantastic location in the heart of Šibenik. The breakfast was superb, easily one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Honestly, I wanted to extend my stay in Šibenik just to enjoy more time at the hotel. The bathroom amenities were top notch. You can feel that the hotel organized and run with love and the highest standards in mind.

There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like

This is a precious little gemWe stayed two nights and the first night had the upstairs suite w/ rooftop hot tub..specialWas already booked for second night so we’re moved to a different room with a magnificent alfresco ceiling..again delightfulTwo things to be aware of .no elevator so if you have heavy stuff could be an issue. No parking..however this is not so much a problem as you might perceive. The city parking garage is about a 3 minute level walk ( no steps to climb) and is very reasonable…also very easy for wheeled luggage. One additional comment needs to be made..the staff members we interacted with..Kent and Petra…could not have been more helpful..including moving our bags up and down..

The hotel was perfectly located in old town. The staff were amazing, super friendly and helpful.

Modernised hotel with stunning decor. We were perhaps upgraded to the best room, which was huge, beautifully tiled and had had a walk-in wardrobe with a safe and stairs to rooftop patio. Excellent breakfast with several courses served in the foyer with a view of people passing in the pedestrianised walkway outside and the dining area opposite. Staff were obliging, helpful and informative.

Too much technology - we had to log onto an i-pad with a PIN code to turn most lights on and off. We temporarily removed the need to log in each time and this change should be done permanently! No lift, as is often the case in historic hotels (it was once a palace) but staff insisted on carrying our cases.

    Interior, location, breakfast

The room was cold, and it was impossible to heat it because they have central heating, which wasn't turned on despite the chilly weather. That really bothered me.

The location is amazing. The hotel is absolutely spotless. The staff are lovely, friendly ,warm and so helpful ...made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is great with a reasonable selection, fresh and tasty.

The bed was too firm for our taste and the pillows too soft, personal taste .

Grand entrance. Historic building on a smaller town square. Room lovely with windows opening on to the square. Excellent vantage point for a Croatian wedding party revellers passing by. Breakfast was excellent. Excellent check in with a cold juice and comfortable lounge chairs.

We were made to feel very welcome. From check in to check out, all the staff were very friendly and helpful.Nothing was too much trouble. If you want advice on where to go, or information about the history of Šibenik, ask Francesca. Our room was spotlessly clean, with a most comfortable bed and a huge marble bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious- and huge!

    Location centrally, breakfast very good

We would have preferred to be told about the cost of parking prior to our visit. We parked at the underground carpark recommended by the hotel which cost E1.33 per hour and our reservation was for 3 nights so this would cost nearly E100! We found a car park at the northern end of town near the beach which was E5 for 24 hours, so we only paid E10 after our first night of E23 in the underground carpark. Would recommend you look around before parking!!

The accommodation exceeded my expectations. The hotel is small but very cozy and pleasant. The location right in the city center is great and absolutely quiet. Parking is possible in nearby garages (approx. 5 minutes on foot), which surprisingly were very empty even on Sunday. At the hotel, you will be welcomed with a glass of juice before the formalities are settled. The hotel is very comfortable with every possible comfort. We only used the restaurant for breakfast, but they are really great and very hearty (a choice of about 10 different combinations of sweet and savory options served with coffee and juice).

I only have a few comments rather than a negative. When you hear something like a siren in the morning, there's no need to panic, it's just the municipal services with a garbage collection truck - considering that this is one of the few completely passable streets in the old town, the truck backs up and beeps. It is important that there are no elevators in the hotel, so the three floors with rooms are only accessible by stairs (but the staff willingly helped to carry the luggage). The hotel is trying for major modernization and automation, such as controlling the lights using a tablet, but it is not always to the benefit of things, like when my sister turned off the lights on her side of the bed with the tablet, I would have to wake her up to turn on the lights in bathroom, otherwise I didn't figure out how to use the switch turn on without using a tablet. Similarly "funny" is the remote control for the bidet/toilet - it was set so interestingly that every time you sit down, the toilet starts to heat up and the toilet "snorts". These "novelties" can be a bit confusing for the older generation.

Everything except not staffed for emergency

The hotel is not staffed at night. Fire alarm went off t off at 2:45am and lasted over an hour. Had no way to contact anyone.

It is a lovely traditional building right in the centre of the old town. The room and en suite bathroom were tastefully and stylishly decorated and spacious. The staff were lovely and really helped us out with planning our stay. Despite being in the town centre the room was very peaceful.
