- Lovely hotel — I stayed here a few years ago and had a more enjoyable room facing the main pool. This time, the room was smaller and did not include a bathtub. We recommend reserving a table for dinner in advance; we hadn’t, but they were kind enough to accommodate us. The antipasti and primi piatti were exceptional, the secondi were both rather understated, and the dessert was pleasant. Breakfast, as always, was wonderful.I also booked a massaggio drenante – metodo Franca, but the experience felt quite different from the one I had in the past. It wasn’t as vigorous this time, and I left a bit disappointed. The facial was also less satisfying — the use of a towel between lotions seemed to dry out my skin, and the esthetician left the room during the mask (which could have been an ideal time for a brief cranial massage). The esthetician herself was lovely, but overall, I didn’t feel the facial offered any real benefit to my skin; in fact, I left feeling quite dry.

- I loved my stay at Grand Hotel Terme! I’m a solo American female traveler. I felt very safe at the hotel. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. It’s no frills. It felt very German to me. There are two large pools. One in door and one outdoor. The saunas and steam rooms are also nice. There is no very hot jacuzzi. There is one warm jacuzzi in a smaller room that is open to everyone when it is not reserved to a private reservation. The staff was wonderful and the dinner was incredible. The breakfast was fine for me, but it was simpler than at some hotels. They have eggs and breads, fruits, yogurts, pastries, juices, hams and a few cheeses. It was very clean and fresh. The water at the hotel is also very special. I’ve had a rash on my chest for several weeks and after two days swimming in and drinking the water the rash is nearly gone. Truly a wonderful therme! Special thanks to the entire staff for such wonderful service.
Cons -
- Spa services can be enhanced with stronger exfoliating products in facials and the addition of devices like microcurrent or hydrafacials. For the American Visitor The hotel temperature is pretty warm, and in the room it is not possible to lower the temperature.
- Maybe the quality of dinner was varying a bit too much during the week
- Breakfast is worse than 2* hotels/zimmers. No vegetables at all. No salads, cottage or even cheese cream. You get only scrambled eggs, bread and some fruits.

Great location and facilities (spa, pool). Clean and renovated rooms. Hotel located at the very nice part and many attractions within 30 min of driving.

Spa facilities, food at the restaurant
If you read other comments, you’ll see there have been A/C issues at the hotel. Our room had the same problem, and the staff didn’t take responsibility or apologise. We had to switch rooms and cancel our dinner reservation.Unless you want to sleep next to a noisy, broken A/C and stay near Ponte Arche, I recommend looking for accommodations in Molveno or Riva, where you’ll likely find better value and hospitality. Also, the breakfast table reservation system needs improvement. Non-Italian-speaking guests were assigned corner tables, while other tables remained vacant for hours since they were reserved, causing unnecessary conflicts. I witnessed two arguments between guests and the manager because of this.In my opinion, a hotel earns four or five stars by how it treats guests, not by having fancy dining plates. I hope this feedback leads to better experiences for future guests.
Beautiful spacious room with comfortable bed, very practical walk-in closet and superb bath/shower combo and balcony.Room cleaning was amazingly non-disruptive and all other services were provided in a friendly, accommodating and professional way. The hotel felt as a “cosy warm blanket”.
Absolutely nothing.
The pool area was amazing. Just wish it opened earlier. But it was very nice and relaxing to lay outside in bubbles. The breakfast was also very good and the staff were very nice.
The shower in the room was tiny. Really really tiny. If you dropped something, you can’t pick it up while still inside the shower and definitely shaving is not possible. In my opinion there should be a different rate for this room because of the small shower. Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, like an old car engine.
Great facilities (pool, wellness, gym, park, terraces) in a beautiful surrounding, nice staff, spacious rooms. One minor
Location is beautiful. The majority of the staff are lovely and very helpful, especially Elena who works at the bar/terrace restaurant. Lovely park local town, fantastic pools, perhaps the best I’ve experienced. Lunch is especially good on the terrace overlooking the main pool, the main restaurant menu is available, this changes each day and the food is delicious. Perhaps the best and coldest draft beer - wonderful! The whole hotel is beautifully appointed and stylish. Free and ample parking available
The feeble and pathetic air conditioning in the rooms. We complained all week it wasn’t working in either of our rooms. The front desk manager Christian told us it had been checked and was fine - it wasnt it was obviously not working! Finally on our last day a lady from housekeeping came and told us the whole hotel had an issue and had a portable unit installed, immediately making the room cool. Hate being lied to by people! Breakfast is a too formal, you get given an allocated table for your stay, which is odd and it takes ages to be brought coffee which you have to order from a waiter. Also fresh bread and croissants are slim pickings after 9:30. Didnt eat in the restaurant as it was all indoors - despite a beautiful outdoor terrace
We loved this hotel and the staff were exceptional. The room was large, comfortable and well appointed . Spa facilities looked comprehensive and reasonably priced and the use of the lovely pool was a real bonus in the hot weather. Breakfasts and set menu dinners were all very enjoyable. Plenty of parking and beautiful setting.
Shower cubicle too small for such a large bathroom - needs a walk in shower to reflect the rest of the experience.
It was a magical 2 nights, the hotel is located in a huge park, with Mountains view, the pool area is relaxing and the water is in the perfect temperature. The room was big and fancy, with everything you need.
You need yo ask the reception to open the AC
A nice if generic contemporary style room. Large outdoor pool with trees at one end. Great breakfast. The bed itself was super comfortable.
Restrictive pool hours (10:30-19:00) compared with similar spa hotels. Broken air conditioning unit. Plastic everywhere, plastic slippers, plastic bottles, and a ridiculously wasteful aerosolized water spray.
Hotel was beautiful, good selection at bar and amazing views
The bar menu was slightly limited for food if you didn't want to go into the restaurant.
The spa is lovely. Everything is clean. Great staff, very friendly.
Rooms a little dated and walls are thin.
The hotel was just what we needed in chaotic period of Christmas Holidays. There was never a lot of people, the pool area was empty dooring the sunny period from 11am-2pm so we somehow felt alone in a private spa. The temperature of the pools was 32 degrees and the outside heated pool often felt warmer. Location is quiet, don't expect any interesting restaurants and events. there is only beautiful nature and hiking options, with close proximity to great ski areas and old towns.
Sound insulation could be better. We could hear our neighbors using the toilet and talking.
Good
This is a hotel for families without children. There is no entertainment for children, restrictions on pools
Very nice location, hotel surrounded by beautiful park. Friendly staff, very good breakfast. Excellent wellness incl. large outside pool, which was great for swimming. It iss just a pity the outside pool does not open at 9am as wellness center, but during our stay at 10:15 or 10:20.
large hotel with an indoor and outdoor pool. There’s a small sauna and two steam rooms. At the pool free fruit and water were on offer. The restaurant serves excellent food.
at breakfast it took a longtime before coffee was served. On two occasions we left without being served a second cup as it took more than 20 minutes. Also the drinks in the evening took in my view too much time. we noticed that others got more attention and with filling up the wine much larger servings.
Ottima Location ..psiscine super...staff super efficiente
Doccia e sanitari piccoli
we liked literally everything about the hotel! nice modern clean rooms, the reception was very nice and helpful, the food in restaurant- delicious, big choice for sweet Italian breakfast (maybe could add some avocado and vegetables for the salty options for vegetarians), the terrace also very nice, but the most we enjoyed the spa - so many saunas, swimming pools, relaxing area, and generally the atmosphere was amazing - everyone calm and relaxed, no loud chatting or screaming.the hotel also has every day activities in the morning such as yoga , mindful walking - it was wonderful experience! just what we were looking for for our stay. The park near hotel was perfect for am evening walk and a morning run. and also they let us to stay in spa after check out and it was really kind, especially because we had to drive a lot of hours after that.thank you so much! we will definitely come back!
I loved everything
