Pros +
- The hotel has a lovely countryside atmosphere and a peaceful, quiet setting. The staff were friendly and welcoming.Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and offered a nice variety.Guests also have free access to the pool, which is a great bonus.
- The location is perfect but other than that, nothing
- The design in the chalets was excellent. Very comfortable with kids. Great breakfast
Cons -
- Our first room had a connecting door to the neighboring room, and we could hear quite a lot of noise. The staff responded immediately and kindly changed our room, which we really appreciated — but it’s worth checking this detail when booking. The shower cabin is extremely small, and some water tends to leak onto the floor while showering. Also, keep in mind that on weekends restaurants and wineries in Ein Zivan are closed, so you may need to drive elsewhere for dining.
- First, the photos DO NOT reflect the actual rooms. The rooms are old, which is fine if you let ppl choose by showing the truth. There is also no isolation between the rooms and we could hear everything our neighbors were doing.Second, it was obvious that the room has not been cleaned properly in quite some time, including before our stay- which makes me concerned about the cleanliness in general. Photos to follow of the left over noodles all over the porch and the dark stains near the kitchen. We decided not to say anything as our daughter was tired, but the next day I asked reception to send someone and said exactly what needed to be cleaned. They apologized immediately and sent someone, but when we go to the room none of the things we asked for got cleaned. The photos below are from after the cleaning staff was there. We won’t come back to the hotel and won’t recommend but will definitely come back to Ein Zivan
- The small room for two are very basic and small and a little old.

The design in the chalets was excellent. Very comfortable with kids. Great breakfast
The small room for two are very basic and small and a little old.
nice breakfast' good location next to a winery
the bath was very small .
We took a family cabin which suited us perfectly for a comfortable family holiday. Plenty of space. Loft floor for the kids, a seperate bedroom for the parents, in addition to a lounge and cute outdoor terrace. The resort is beautifal, with a playground next to the dining room. Free access to the kibbutz pool was fun!
Breakfast could be improved in terms of freshness. Vegan options are missing.
Location is great
- Same breakfast every morning- the second floor with o Ac and it was super hot- From the arrival the staff reminds you when do you leave what do you need to do in order to leave. The staff gave you the feeling that you are bother them and disturb all the time
great place and wonderful gardens
everything - great room, balcon and excellent breakfast
beautiful view, and great coffee at Matarello and great wine at Pelter winery.
use UV protection the light is very strong in this height!
the property was very nice, the room was awful. I wouldn’t go back nor would I recommend this room to anyone.
Bad accommodations! Awful bathroom, no room to put anything down, took forever to get hot water, the desk closes at 7 pm and if you need anything, tough luck!
Staff looked after our every needs. we received a suite as an upgrade. breakfast was lavish and tasty. quiet and secluded.comfortable
The wineries and restaurants all close before 5pm. The hotel is not involved in these hours. it would be nice to have something available in the evenings within the Kibbutz grounds.
the location is very good. breakfast seems very good, colorful and varied.
We came to sleep before an hike. we wanted to have a sandwich for the hike but told that we can’t make it. it’s forbidden. the room was clean and nice. the shower so small you can hardly stand inside. the water overflow and the bathroom floor was wet.
Amazing breakfast, beautiful location, best winery in the country, Pelter, a few min walk away.
Towels don’t need replacing every day.
Excellent breakfast, perfect location , clean rooms, comfortable.....
We were in a very cold days, there were no place for stay as a family after 9 pm on Thursday, and Friday after 6 the place was closed, it was disappointing.
location is great, hot water
a lot of noise. the separation with the room next to us is only by a door. we could hear everything. from quiet conversation to a baby that cried the whole night and early morning as if it was in our room. the shower is super tiny and you can hardly stand in. the room is not maintained very well.
good location, excellent breakfast.
scanty furniture in the room, thin walls, could hear neighbor’s tv.
Grounds are lovelyThe staff was professional and warm at the same timeThe breakfast was very good and ample
the bustan houses are great. nice comfy clean. the staff is welcoming. lots to do in the area. kid friendly
breakfast was not to our taste. wide selection of veggies. but no sourdough bread and undrinkable coffee
There was a large variety of food for breakfast, good for every tasteThe swimming pool is spacious and clean but because it was only open in the afternoon, it was very crowded with children and difficult for swimmers.
The shower head was broken and the whole cubicle was very small
I liked the breakfast, the location and the pool.
I didn't like the fact, that the pool isn't open in Sunday (no one told us that, although they called us from the property to insure our details. This fact wasn't mentioned in Booking.com; the property called us after free cancellation had ended and told us "the pool is closed in Sunday" which was a half of the holiday trip. When we complained while the call with the staff, we weren't answered politely), BUT when we arrived the staff was polite and helpful.
Family friendly, playgrounds, pools, kitchen, near great attractions.
Would be good to know the hours of the restaurants in the kibbutz. They were good, but I didn't know about them. Also the market.
