Pros +
- Very nice comfortable and clean room with good air conditioner. Place is in the nature with forest around. Near tourist centers
- The rooms are small but very comfortable, we were a family of six in two Urban rooms. And it was great. We had everything we needed in the rooms and there was a great loan for the kids to play just in front of the rooms. The breakfast was great as well, very good food, and very clean. The location is great as well. A short car drive to almost anywhere in the Golan.
- Very clean, comfortable bed, great location
Cons -
- No seeming pool on site, need to go to close by site
- Bit expensive. No breakfast early in the morning. Which I understand, but that really makes it a bit too expensive.
- The value for money was not so great, the price was high and the room was small and lacked basic facilities

Very clean, comfortable bed, great location
Friendly, good room, hot (which was good, it was snowing outside), small perfect supermarket, good location. Loved it.

Great location, good breakfast, helpful staff, convenient room

An amazing location in the Golan. An active kibbutz with spectacular scenery and wonderful restaurants nearby. Friendly staff happy to speak to you in English or Hebrew :)
Wow what a place, the cabin, the view , the location, it was absolutely perfect, we will visit again for sure
The room was nice and there was nice space around it for children to play safely
The location isn't near anything
We like the place, the atmosphere, the staff, the breakfast, the location. The room was very comfortable, the place is very spacious, green and quiet. Recommended as a starting point for attractions and hikes. Good value for money.
We added a Friday night dinner at the Kibbutz dining room - the timing was very early, a lot of the main dishes (salmon fish for example) were over until we got and did not have a refill, and the dining room was closed after one hour. For my opinion, the place is not suitable for Shabbat observant guests.
As a couple, we took the Studio Plus room and it was great. The room includes a clean bathroom with a nice shower and toilet. Other than that, the room comes with basic kitchen utensils (plates, forks, knives, etc.), a Nespresso machine (with free capsules), an electric kettle, refrigerator and an electric kettle.Just outside the room there's a nice common area where you can sit on beanbags and benches and chill. The breakfast in the kibbutz cafeteria was great - scrambled eggs, fruits, veggies, yogurts, cereal, coffee, juices and much more. The receptionist also gave us a list of local restaurants and the ones we tried were really great. The location is pretty good, it's about 20-30 minutes drive to most trails and there are a lot of points of interest around the kibbutz. The Tel Shifon winery is a must! The wine is great, and they have really nice meals there as well. It's a walking distance away from your room, so no need to worry about drunk driving. All in all, a great place and we had a really good time.
The bed in the Studio Plus rooms is two single beds put next to each other. Sometimes they move around and create a gap between them, which as a couple was inconvenient at times, but wasn't too bad.
Very nice rooms. The area between the rooms is great.
We had about 8 rooms which all were fine except one that had a bad smell (like a dead body..) we called them and there was a dirt below the kitchen- first I would expect them to notice such bad smell when cleaning a room and clean it (no chance they’ve missed it) and second - even though we had this smell for a day (and night) they didn’t even say they are sorry .. they were nice but I expected a bit more.
Kibbutz Ortal is a lovely place. Provided a delicious breakfast. . Beautiful courtyard. Great weather. very comfortable rooms.
Rooms could have been kept a bit cleaner.
That everything was nearby and convenient
The bed was 2 beds together insted of one big one. I fell a few times
Breakfast was nice, as was the room. Everything of course, in relation to price. This is not a luxury place, but it is in a beautiful location, the staff are friendly, and the rooms newly renovated.
The bathroom was musty.

Breakfast was excellent! The location is wonderful for exploring the Golan area. Very friendly and helpful staff. They replaced a torn screen immediately! They provided us with a hair dryer upon request,
The no name coffee pods in the room were not tasty, or maybe I wasn't using the machine correctly.
Great location, easy access
It was very loud, wasn’t clean enough, too expensive for what you get
This is a quiet place to stay up in the Golan Heights. The breakfast was very nice. It is in the dining hall of the kibbutz and offers a variety of food. The vineyard on the premises of the kibbutz was wonderful. Good wine and cheese/nibbles to go along with the wine. Super friendly and helpful staff at the vineyard. Stayed in the cabins/chalets and there was a lovely little deck, hot tub, and good airco and tv.
Would have been nice if there was more information about options for dinning in the area.
We loved the interaction with the staff of the kibbutz. They made us feel at home.
It’s located near an army base and there were exercises conducted through the night. Many loud booms but this also added to the experience. Obviously this doesn’t happen every night.
The staff were nice and friendly
The room was small, bad was not comparableAnd wifi not working
