The sheets were scratching The Fridge did not work The shower did not get hot

The hotel was very close to everything at the University. It's very clean/modern inside and thought the overall hotel was perfect.

Front desk staff. Free underground parking. Hotel interiors character. Room spaciousness. Wood floors.

Need electric plugs in room (for charging phones etc).

Everything was great, the room, the indoor pool, the gym, the breakfast and the staff. There was even undercover parking included if you couldn't get a parking spot in the street. The location was also very good.

matress was horrible, stayed two nights and longed for the stay to be over! Beds are "old fashioned" (love it or not, a question of taste), but the matresses could sure be substituted for something comfortable...

Great hotel, perfectly located. Really enjoyed the art around the property and our room was beautiful. The free underground garage was a big plus! Breakfast was really good with many options to choose from!

It would be great if the glass doors on the shower and WC extend to the ceiling.

We used the sauna and the pool and it was excellent. Breakfast was great!

Minor complaint: fluffier pillows would be nice.

Small but with everything you need! Bed was comfortable and shower A1 !Breakfast fantastic ! We arrived late and the lady at the front desk wait for us outside to be sure we don’t miss the spot!I will come back next time in Coimbra for sure!

Quite convenient location, on site parking, amazing variety of fruit for breakfast. Besides the bedroom, there was a whole other seating area. Kitchen staff was helpful

There were no sockets anywhere convenient. We had to disconnect lamps to charge our phones.

Loved the suite with sitting room and the pool was great. Breakfast was delicious also.

Beds were not very comfortable and neither was the furniture in sitting room although we appreciate that they are antiques. There were no towels at the pool and the sauna was not operating.

I possess very good cushy walking shoes - but after walking the cobblestone sidewalks & streets - the indoor heated pool was BLISSFUL. The lovingly prepared breakfast buffet was outstanding & it offered me 6 excellent opportunities to speak to many of the guests. On a sunny morning the server opened the door to the garden, raised the umbrellas, placed cushions on the seats and helped to bring out our food from our table inside?The front desk was exceptional - she helped me several times with my safe as well as when I left my door key in my room and gave me a wonderful tip on a nearby restaurant. Lastly, I left my documents and money In the safe, and they forwarded it to me at my next destination and Braga. I am forever grateful, and the memory of this place in the city has a special place in my heart.

The property is in a great location, full of character and comfortable. The breakfast was superb and the parking an added bonus.

It's only worth it for the hotel's location

Considering this is a 4-star hotel, there are certain aspects that do not meet the expected standard of quality. Specifically:1) the bathroom sink has poor drainage, which causes some inconvenience during use. 2) The bathroom is visible from the bed in the room, as there is no door; only the toilet and the shower are enclosed by frosted glass doors, which compromises privacy — it is possible to see, hear, and odors can permeate3) In the bathroom, there were broken tiles or those in need of repair, and the water safety outlets exhibited signs of verdigris4) The mattress/bed is not comfortable.5) The room has poor sound insulation, which affects the overall comfort during the stay.6) Low maintenance of the pool accessories, namely the showers.7) The breakfast was limited in variety and of low quality.8) We requested a room change due to a problem with the lock. Once locked, the door could be opened without a key or card. We were informed that there have been recurring issues with these locks. Given the nature of the problem.It would be important to address this issue to ensure greater comfort and the security for guests that expect 4 star hotel.

Great location, excellent breakfast, good value for money.
