It was clean, well appointed and a good price

Excellent front staff. Very spacious and clean.

We had a complementary voucher for coffee and a pastry each, and was told to go down to breakfast area to redeem. Upon arrival we were treated awkwardly because we did not have the breakfast package and was escorted to main bar to have a horrible pod coffee and one pastry divided in 2. Being European we never buy breakfast packages considering there are sooo many quaint cafes to enjoy a traditional breakfast, great coffee and beautiful surroundings. So don’t expect a nice morning experience unless you have purchased a breakfast option.

Very clean. Great for after-hospital procedure rest-ups, as is very near UC Hospital and da Luz. Beds were very supportive. Room was spacious and well laid out. Bathroom was excellent. Had parking under the building but difficult to find and extra charge. Room rates were reasonable.

No breakfast included. Dinner was served in the bar, which was crowded. Food was okay. Internet hook-up was poor for both of us using different computers. Guy had to get on our machines and make settings changes just to join in-house network. There were fewer good close restaurants than we expected for a posh neighborhood, but Hamburgeria and organic grocery nearby were world-class. Actually found street parking behind hotel (in January).

Very modern and clean rooms.

No room service in the evening (before midnight) and no functioning WiFi network (the reception just said it was working on their side and didn’t investigate why I couldn’t access it). Poor breakfast.

No free parking, which is very weird for a proper hotel. Why do you have to pay if hotel already has their own parking , usually when you book a proper hotel (not an airbnb) you should have the parking included in the price you pay as it is included in the hotel amenities.

location for hospital nearby.parking is easy and convenient. hotel bar with coffee snd traditional cake was a welcome treat.

Easy to check-in and to find the hotel. Free parking was nearby just across the street.

The TV is not Internet connected and does not allow cast. The mattress could be a little softer.

The air conditioning is outdated, and the room was very warm. I asked reception for repairs, and they simply suggested turning it off.

The room was very clean and spacious. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food at the restaurant and room service were excellent. Parking access was easy and they have chargers available.

Not much, make sure you ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the front faces onto a busy road and can be noisy.

Noise from construction work. Needed to catch up some sleep and was very difficult with the noise next to our room.

Expected levels of comfort, shower and friendly staff

Size of the room, nice room, the hotel is nice. The breakfast is good, and the Portuguese speaking not original from Portugal were extremely nicer.

The staff originally from Portugal - a bit rude - rough in the edges. A/C was a challenging - it wouldn't stay ON during the night - sensor thing. And parking is ok, but instructions to get there not okay - the hotel must emphasize the need to go over the sidewalk - all international travelers we spoke to had the same issue. they kept going around via Pingo Doce as they didn't believe that going over the sidewalk is ok, we were that ones telling them on the elevators - they were shocked.

The hotel was a bit far of a walk from the main action (that is, if you weren't there as a tourist) but we chose it to avoid some of the reviews mentioning the possibility of noise in the evenings. I don't think this would have been an issue at all.In any case, the hotel was modern and very comfortable. We had an excellent buffet dinner there one evening as well.
