Hotel D. Luis

Friendly staff, fast check in/out. Location is not bad, but a bit far from center, no restaurants around. Room is clean, has a balcony with a very nice view,since the hotel is on the hill. Breakfast is very nice too with variety if choices.

Our room was on the first floor, a lot of noises at night, including loud music probably from some celebration party. I am a light sleeper, so dod not sleep much that night.

Confusion about breakfast being included. They handled it well and did not charge us. Great location with view of the city.

Room cons: no refrigerator, no kettle, no ventilation in bathroom. The quality of the breakfast and dinner could be improved, some dishes didn’t quite meet expectations.

I think it was the fire alarm. It blinked with a very bright light, preventing me to fall asleep. The staff solved that but to me this is not good. I needed to wake up very early so this was not acceptable

The staff was extremely friendly, everything was well presented, very clean and spacious room. We loved the city/mountain views

Easy check in, big room, good shower. Breakfast was good. Onsite parking.The bar food was very good in both quality & value.

Slight smell in the room - possibly from someone smoking on the balcony with the door let open? Not overpowering, it cleared when the air-con had been on for a while.The hotel is located on a hill on the very outskirts of the city which made the parking feel quite safe but it meant a taxi or shuttle to get in for any sightseeing.

Bad smell (room)

Great room with a view out across the town. Sat out on the balcony for some time late into the evening just looking out across the hills and town. Restaurant also with good views out and the food was quite superb.

Nothing to fault, all good.

Everything was clean, staff is very friendly. The restaurant, although not included, has very tasty meals with a relatively average price.

The bed could be a little bigger, but was confortable nontheless.

room massively overpriced as we were attending a concert but was given a room that was very old and needed renovating. The breakfast was poor no staff around no dishes replenished when emptied

Everything was fine, in general. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy.

The dinner we ate in the restaurant wasn’t as good as I expected it to be. Having good food and not having to leave the hotel to eat it is very important to me when traveling for work.The AC/Heating unit cause a very unpleasant audible vibration that was impossible to endure so we slept without heating and it was quite cold in the room. We were gone at work most of the time so didn’t have to stay many hours in the cold room. If it had been summer, I think we would have been quite uncomfortable without the AC and I may not risk booking a room in the future during summer months based on that which is really a shame.

The hotel needs a full refurbishment, it is very old and needs deep works.The room and toilettes are not proper for the price.

The staff were good and the breakfast buffet good, except for the noise of plates being banged around.

It is a very dated property far from the city.

The room was very old, bath tub from the old ages, water that can it was yellow.The windows have no insulation nor sound proof.Was hardly able to sleep due to noises from neighbors rooms and mosquito.
