Hotel Ibis Coimbra Centro

Easy access to town. It was clean.

Very bare bones. Small rooms. Not a lot of frills, but it¿s a two star hotel, so just expect a basic experience. Breakfast isn¿t included and is an option you have to pay for to upgrade.

The location cannot be beat. Easy walk to restaurants sights.

The room was hot, and the air conditioning was not turned on, and the window was locked. Apparently the air conditioning does not get enabled until summer months. We had to have someone come up and unlock the window, and sign a waiver of responsibility.

Very comfortable rooms; low cost; great location; breakfast was extra but work it.

One of the staff members was rude but the others were very nice. The room is pretty small.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast options were also quite nice, even though 10 euros per person feels a bit too pricey.

The temperature in the room couldn't be adjusted. There was a thermostat, but it was just fake, since the AC/heating is central. The room was way too hot, so we needed to open the window, making it too noisy to sleep well.

Location

The room could be better, the room was not so comfortable and it was smelly.

Hotel was amazing good location easy to find

The parking is tricky, if the car is big getting in is tricky also to get out.

The hotel is well located in front of a huge park. It is possible to go to the Coimbra University through another park as well.

I do not know why, but it wasn't possible to change the air conditioner temperature. And the value fixed is not that comfortable if the weather is hot.

Easy walking distance to central Coimbra. Allowed me to check in early and car park was fine (but tight). Breakfast buffet was good. Room was clean and comfortable.

There was no air conditioning in the room and it was very hot.The parking garage has terrible desing, is difficult to come out from it.

Location is really nice

Room comfort - no carpet in the room, even next to the bed. Floor is azulejo, room looked cold and uncomfortable.

It was so hot! The whole building was hot, and doesn’t have mini bar.

The location was excellent: located on a level section of town, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the main pedestrianized street in the center of town.

Very basic breakfast options and a simpler room compared to other Ibis locations.

We had stayed at Ibis hotels many times and always had a good stay. This was not an exception. It was clean, efficient and has a excellent staff. Special thanks to Jago from reception who help us with parking of the car in the hotels underground parking(it was to steep and curvy for our rental?). Thank you Jago very much. Breakfast is very tasty and includes variety of food

Nothing we don't like

The front desk staff was so helpful! We require help booking a bus to our next location and the staff member printed schedules, translated for us and ensured we were taking the most convenient bus.

The bathrooms do not have fans therefore the humidity is so high which creates a smell and makes it hard to use after showers until it cools down

The location is very good, quite central to alot of things and beautiful park in front of the hotel.

The plugs are quite far from the bed.

The underground parking is very tight which is not clearly indicated. If you have anything bigger than a smaller car it will be very difficult to access the garage. If we had known that we would not have parked there given there is free street parking.
