Location and staff

No windows, it can feel little stuffy.

It is my go to place when I stay in Coimbra. It is located in a great spot, it is quiet, and clean and the price is right.

Not a big deal, but I sometimes stress about checking in before midnight when I take the last train out of Figueira da Foz

No frills hotel but very clean and comfortable in a great location. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Lack a desk to work in the room. But you can go to the restaurant up there with your laptop and enjoy a nice coffee while working.

The room was as advertised - just a box with no windows and no TV. Both the rooms and the hotel in general felt trendy and cool. It was a really good value for the money. I wish there were more hotel options like this other places - basic, but inviting at a really good price. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was not big, but didn't feel too small and was very functional. We got 2 rooms next to each other and there was only one of us in each room. The woman at the front desk was very nice and friendly. The place was close to the river with a nice green space between the street and the river where people go jogging and walking dogs, etc. It was a lovely location. We also ate in the restaurant upstairs and had a nice meal.

It might feel a little cramped for 2 people, especially if you are staying for multiple nights. There is no desk or place to sit and work if that is something you need. We had to park across the river, and had to walk about 4-6 blocks to the nearest garage. If the weather is bad, that might be a problem.

I liked the proximity to the Camino and to all the restaurants and historical sites. I appreciated that they allowed me to store my backpack in a locker until it was time to check in. The room had everything I needed to be comfortable.

I understand the concept that you are provided a room with limited luxuries in order to make it affordable. But it was hard for me to sleep feeling like I was in a box.

Fantastic place, comfortable room, very clean, the staff was very nice and we appreciated the welcoming drink! You can walk to many places in Coimbra from here. Would definitely go back! Also they give you a small discount for a meal on the restaurant above it.

The staff that did our check in was TOP! She had a nice talk with us, very caring, and making us feel home, not only in the hotel but the city. The design was very cool too. Location, perfect.

It didn't have ramps ti enter, confusing front office location at first and despite the cozy room concept which we like it was not very accessible for a wheelchair, there could be some improvements as well in the whole city.

The overall space, from the rooms to the restaurant, has a great, modern, cool vibe. Staff at the front desk and restaurant were really accommodating and friendly.

Can't think of anything I didn't like.

Clean, loved the concept of it just being a room, truly appreciated the free locker storage if you arrive before check in time. Absolute game changer for travellers!

It is our go to place when we come to Coimbra. Value, location, clean, great showers, helpful staff, bar upstairs and great breakfast!

It’s a unique property, now I understand why it had no TV, as it was supposed to be a calm and soothing stay with little noise.

The combination of no windows with poor ventilation in the rooms causes stale air. In addition, after every shower, my all room was humid because of the ventilation.

This hotel enjoys a great location close to the city center, with easy access to University of Coimbra and the Mondego River. The reception team provides a warm welcome, and guests can benefit from free-of-charge luggage storage.

It's unusual to find no chair in the room, forcing me to sit on the floor. Additionally, the breakfast selection could be improved with a greater variety of dishes.

Room has everything you need, but I found the lack of a window to be depressing. I'm not typically claustrophobic, but you get to put it to the test with this stay.Location was great; just off the main square. Breakfast was totally amazing, and I enjoyed making crepes each morning.The staff was incredibly kind and answered my stupid questions with great patience.

I liked how simple a stay can be without windows and without TV. Less room to make a mess in my room with clothes everywhere! Also very soundproof!!

Party scene in bar went a little long and loud, but overall not a big problem

The room was a grave. No natural light.Air difficult to breathe.So reduced space it was hard to move. Sticky floor.Very poor lighting.Not a single paper glass for teeth brushing.I could hardly sleep maximum 3 hours.
