    • This was a good, solid location on the way to our stop at the Wolf's Lair the following day. How amazing to be able to stay in an actual, working castle. The breakfast was fabulous, with many choices. Looks like a good spot as a wedding or party venue as well.
    • Ummm it’s a castle and lives up to castle expectations! The spa was unexpectedly amazing and everything you could ask for. The pool in the former dungeon was top tier and the spa pool was massive. Jacuzzi in the spa pool was great to relax in and spa services were great. The rooms were comfortable and massive and the views of the rolling hills from the window were stunning. During the fall the town is quiet and so is the neighboring town of Mikołajki is partially closed but worth a visit. I can see spending a longer amount of time in the summer in the area.
    • The Spa is absolutely amazing and is the high light of the whole place

    Cons -

    • The pillow offering could have been better (minor point) & the electrical outlets did not work (more problematic) although oddly, the mini-fridge did still work.
    • The village was much more quieter in the fall. This is not the place to go if you want to explore the town itself.
    • The gym is unacceptable and should be closed - it’s dangerous and not safe to use.I happened to come during some convention and they occupied the hotel completely and made me feel like a second class guest, didnt even bother to clean my room. The hotel generally kept the castle vibe but failed in the details - the towels are cheap, the lighting is off (bed light straight to the face which doesn’t move)

The spa amenities are impressive, but be prepared that people might be loud and talking, which is quite annoying in a sauna. The bowling alley onsite was also nice because it had a bar with a friendly barmaid. The restaurant also had great food.

The main reason I wouldn't stay here again: noise. I could very easily hear the people in the next room, and I could tell they were speaking at normal volume. On top of that, people were constantly coming in from 11pm til about 1am, and were very noisy in the hallway -- to be fair that was only Saturday night, and the other nights this was not the case. Also, the wifi did not work at all on the last day.

Amazing castle. The hotel always hosts interesting events. We happened to get to the Knight's Feast and it was very impressive.

The breakfast was top notch! The castle is amazing and the sense of history in this place is well preserved. No wonder achiever of best Polish hotel several times, but these times are passing quickly, as far as I can see

I did not like room that looked like a cellar, so dark even though facing court. At one night there was a party, that decided to spent their night in court, instead of dedicated late night restaurant. I ended up complaining to front desk at 1:30 am, so they dispatched security guy, like they didn't hear it before. Later on I spoke to people in town, and they said there is a notorious problem with noise in that hotel. At the time we were checking out, they were setting up a great stage in court. I don't even think how would have been the following night... Complete disgrace of customer privacy and right to rest! Not going back there.

Amazing. Such a great place everybody should experience. That feeling of history was superb. Great/perfect Spa, allot of space. Really great.

Rooms are small, better to choose bigger one. Mind the air conditioning (not all rooms are equiped). Underground spa full of children was not a place to relax.

    Disapointment!

Wonderful idea to renovate old castle into a hotel with unique idea. However not only decoration makes impression and atmosphere. This is serious call to Hotel Management: Please do think more about your Staff. Reception was overloaded and tired, lady barely spoke English. She did not tell us anything about possibilities in hotel (as I understood later there was a pool as well).. In spite I contacted hotel in advance and asked for DBL bed, since we where coming back from our honey moon, we got small, dark room with TWIN bed. I kindly asked reception if I could pay extra to an upgrade or to pay extra for another room, girl just did not know how to help me, she was tired of everything and just kept silent and looked at me with tired eyes. Later we decided to go to the restaurant, our waiter guided us to dirty table (with crumbles and used tooth picks ! ). I asked at least to take this mess away, she just asked us to move to other table. Nonsense. However we have to admit that the dishes was unique and very tasty. Compliments to Chef! My point is - how you can destroy wonderful business idea and great hotel with a lack of service! And this is not the Staff problem, this is Management problem. We got an impression that whole hotel is working for "one time guests", very, very sad.

This is my 3rd stay in this hotel in recent years. I usually choose this one when I am in the area. Overall impression is the same as before. Service is good, amenities are also ok. We had dinner at Rynski Mlyn, which is associated with this hotel and the food was very good from quality and value perspective.

Comparing to my previous stays, breakfast was just ok for 16EUR/person and that means it was way overpriced. It used to be excellent and for less money. I even used to enjoy delicious forshmak here, but not anymore. Room was facing courtyard roof which was advertised as Inner courtyard view, not something nice for the price paid.

We were in a roadtrip trough poland castles , and first stay was in zamek ryn.Beakfast was not the best i would say avarage, but restaurant meal was awesome.Weighters know their job , brought meal with white gloves that shows high standarts, but would be better if they knew english. We had super evening because staff let us us stay outside and served drinks. Finally , after we left, we forgot one of our bags at public place were we packed our stuff to car.We were very pleased! And want to thank reception employees that found our number and managed to find a way to deliver bag to us. That required way more effort than regular work, that empyee act made this hotel one of our favorites, and we defenatly will come back.

My 3rd time at this classy, ornate hotel-castle-spa. The restaurant is wonderful!

    Gym facility is sub par

    Beautiful, historical location.

Many of the facilities were not on, such as the saunas. The lights were off in some corridors and pool bathrooms. Guests had to turn the lights and other pool features on themselves. Few staff members. The staff told us to use the two working saunas, if the other three were off, acting almost surprised. I would not recommend travelling in March, when the holiday season has not started yet.

The Spa was lovely with great facilities, however it did tend to become quite crowded during the day. Rooms are elegant with tall ceilings and good beds. Breakfast was very good, even if you came slightly late.

I was sad to learn that the 'Biesiada Rycerska' which was happening during our 2 night stay was only via pre-booking and at an additional cost of 150zl per person. Would have loved to have a room with a doube bed instead of 2 joined singles.

Perfect stay in a historical place. Spa great, pool very beautiful, restaurant dishes very tasty!

    7GretaPosted on: 9-18-2023

The interior was breathtaking. The SPA facilieties also great.

There is a lack if signs for "quiet areas", especially within saunas resulting in some people being totally inconsiderent of others and people generally coming to spa to relax. The signs may not resolve this, but would be a good reminder to be aware of others.

    6GretaPosted on: 9-18-2023

Really loved this SPA hotel, one of the nicest I have been to. Food was great, saunas lovely too.

We were given room 206 which windows face the inside (dinning hall), so there was lack of natural light. Thought the bigger issue was the huge screen and spots being playd in the hall until midnight which prevented us from sleeping due to the noise/people shouting and TV on. I have raised this with reception twice (via phone and by going there in person) but no action was taken, which was very disappointing. We cane to this spa hotel to relax and have a good night's sleep, so perhaps hotel would like to take this into consideration when giving such rooms to guests..

This property is pretty unusual. It is a very large and old manor house that has been converted into a hotel and leans heavily into a "castle" theme. The decorations include suits of armor, exposed brick and old wood facades, cannons, and other details to give it a castle feel. A lot of the castle elements appear to be modern reproductions, but that doesn't detract much from the unusual experience. During the day, there were period performers in costume, as well as horses. Much more was going on than a usual hotel, and given the reasonable price, I enjoyed the unusual extra experiences.

The room was on the small side and the bed was less comfortable than many hotels. The so-called "fabulous breakfast" was underwhelming. Everything on offer was competently prepared, but the selection was similar to the offer at many other hotels, and lacked any elements for me to make it really stand out. A satisfying breakfast, but not exceptional.

Staff was polite and friendly, nice swimming pool.

air cooling was not working, breakfast not worth money you pay., room need repairs.
