AC Hotel Palacio Universal

Very comfortable bed, very clean, lovely room, nice staff, great location

The Turkish bath was really just a small steam room. I don't think there was a restaurant in the hotel.

Excellent location near the ferry terminal (for Cies island) and old town.Front desk staff very efficient.Room was good and clean as well as the bathrooms.However bathroom has a glass door - opaque, but no privacy at all, with huge gaps all around.

Glass bathroom door - seems to be the norm in the AC Mariott hotels we stayed in. Wifi does not have a password.

Everything - the staff were very attentive. Sofia and Santi were amazing!

The view from the room looking at the water was beautiful. The location to the center of town and the water front was excellent. The room was clean. The staff went above and beyond to help us with some of our special requests. The breakfast was delicious.

Location was close enough to all train and bus terminals.Staff was friendly and helpful.Complimentary water.

The room smelled of tobacco.There were hairs and clumps of dust across the room, also a bug in the bathroom. Only slippers for one.No bathrobes.

Carefull! I got into a trap of not checking exactly the room I had booked. I didn't imagine there can be such a difference in a 4star hotel in rooms they offer. The good price is just for a shity room with almost no window. It gives you the impression of staying in a basement. If you open the "window" you got constant noise from AC equipment located outside and a totally no view (concert wall opposite). I didn't check the description of the room, but would never imagine a 4star Mariott can offer a basement type of a room. Horrible.

Location was superb. Right by the ferry to Cies Islands.

The bed was small and not super comfortable. The room was smaller than expected.

The hotel was super nice, very clean and super central, it’s walking distance from every attraction and shopping areas in Vigo.

The location is excellent & facilities modern & clean. Coffee & tea making facilities in the room. Vigo is beautiful… I wish we had had more time!

I enjoyed the location and the staff were very friendly.

My room had a perfume scent which was too much and not nice at all. The fitness centre was a tiny room and only suitable for one person so hardly a fitness centre. The television had no international options, purely local Spanish channels.

Perfect location to board cruise ship & dining choices fir dinners. Lovely reception area. Comfy rooms.

The location is close to city, customer service at its best, brilliant place to stay in Vigo.
