    Pros +

    • Great view into the harbor.
    • The hotel is 19 minute walk from the city center. There's really nothing much near it and it's in a run down area, lots of graffiti, some homeless. If you you are going to a convention there you'll be okay. If you are on the Camino, don't stay there. Most of the staff was great. The hotel is modern, the room luxurious, breakfast was great.
    • The room was very nice. I booked a special room with direct ocean view, that was nice. The location is nice just a little bit too far to walk back and forth. It’s a solid 25 walk to old town and most of the nice restaurants. But the harbour area is nice. Parking is right under the hotel which was great for us.

    Cons -

    • Not close to restaurants or bars so the limited food service hours were not great.
    • Bad area of town. On Sundays you are in a desolate area.
    • In general the hotel seems a little dated and stale but still comfortable. As I said, too far too walk to town a lot. But you can grab an UBER. Breakfast was a buffet and not bad but also not extraordinary, just ok. Staff told us that there was no UBER but there is. That was a little strange.

Breakfast was excellent, checkout was a breeze, bed was okay. While building was a converted office building, it led to very spacious rooms.

There were no usb ports. There was a glass-window, with a venetian blind which allowed view into the bathroom like a display show area. There were no washcloths in the bathroom for shower usage.

The rooms were spacious, clean and the value for money was great! The staff were friendly and it served for a short two day trip

The pillows were very very uncomfortable, otherwise everything was great

    The showers were hot.

Everything. The location, the staff, the lack of available food on site, and the fact this is considered a 4 star hotel. I would never stay here again and would warn others to avoid this hotel.

After hiking the Camino it was a welcome splurge (although was affordable so not necessarily 'splurge') but I was tired and the room was big and the bed was comfy - very high end and there was a nice large grocery store in walking distance.

    I can't think of anything

The room was much more than I expected. Really spacious with big and comfy beds. Views of a little bit of the Harbour side and viewpoint/city side. Breakfast has a good selection too.

The rooms were clean & comfy. The breakfast had a great selection of food to suit everyone. The staff were friendly & shared recommendations for local restaurants.

This hotel is in an industrial Port area of Vigo & was very quiet with not many restaurants / shops close by.

Absolutely lovely room, spotless, fab bed, great big bath.

Bit of a walk into town but not terrible

    Cleanliness

Not providing cafeteria service, lack of personnel, just a basic vending machine, that's not proper for a hotel like this.

    10InesPosted on: 12-24-2024

The room was very warm and the bed was huge with nice leaning.Good amenities. Breakfast was really nice too. Very nice view to the big boats on the shore.

Nothing. Sad to see the abandoned building surrounding the hotel but that a recommendation for the government. The city and its people are very nice and felt very safe throughout.

Everything about the hotel, breakfast and staff was fantastic. The room was large and clean and the parking was right below the hotel.

Located in the industrial area opposite to the harbor, far from city center, the view from our room was a shipyard. Restaurants, bars and entertainment were a long walk away. The whole area is very dark and secluded at night.

    Location and parking

This is an old hotel in need of renovation and a deep clean.... its definitly not a 4 star as it says it is. Room is nothing special, didnt feel fresh or clean, was dingy and dark. No double glazing so you can hear everything from outside. Dirty grease marks on windows from previous guests. No coffee or tea option... cup of hot water from the vending machine is 1 euro lol ( is this a 4 star experience I dont think so ). Sheets were clean but not soft. A dull experience to what I was expectng to be a nice hotel.

    Very spacious. Very good breakfast

It has its years but is well maintained

    9MikePosted on: 8-24-2024

The location is a 15 minute walk from the central port area , and that section is level . It is worth doing some research into the location of the outdoor escalators and moving walkways in the city as it is quite a challenge getting around in the summertime. The hotel itself is modern with one of the best buffet breakfasts we have enjoyed in mainland Europe, lots of choice and of high quality.

The air con didn't work in our room , but the very pleasant and helpful girl on night desk duty ,changed us to a room on the top floor, this was a lovely upgrade and was cooler with a balcony.

    Central to downtown

    1. Water has not been replanished after cleaning. 2. There wasnt iron board, neither iron machine.3. Zero toiletries, apart from gel, champoo and conditionerFor being a 4 star hotel, the aminities were poor.

GYM WAS BADLY EQUIPPED AND SMELT HORRIBLE DUE TO THE TOILET INSIDE THE GYM. NO FRESH AIR OR AIR CON. BROKEN EQUIPMENT. DISAPPOINTING.
