Hotel Playa Samil Vigo

Beach right across street. The open tea area was pleasant to spread out our maps and do some planning.

Less sound between rooms.

A very nice room and an excellent garden, very friendly helpful staff.

Beautiful building and garden. Situated at the start of the promenade so many restaurants and fun people watching.

Pillow was too fat/hard.

The single room was quite small but impeccably clean and it was very quiet at night. The garden surrounding the hotel is beautiful.

I had hurt my knee walking on the Camino and had to find a nice place in Vigo to enjoy while I recovered on my own. Found sitting in a hotel with no yard not enjoyable. So, Hotel Playa Samil Vigo with its beautiful yard was a perfect choice.

Beautiful garden and sitting area, bright and clean room, proximity to the beach, complementary bottles of water in the room fridge, and a very kind and attentive owner. Will return the next time I am in Vigo!

The sounds of other guests and traffic during the night (with window open). Earplugs helped!

Nice spot for stopping along the Camino, short walk to the beach and some restaurants (not too many options though). The bed was comfortable and the automatic blinds for the skylights were a cool feature!

The shower was a little awkward, couldn’t seem to not have water splash out and just felt tight in there.

A welcome sight as I rolled in off the camino! An older property with all the new amenities. Love the stone architecture and character. Theresa was very sweet. The breakfast in the garden dining room was simple and more than ample.

Easy walk to groceries & cafes. BEAUTIFUL & spacious interior and exterior spaces. Very kind and attentive staff.

Well maintained beautiful old architecture. The owners/staff at the hotel are accommodating and very nice. The garden is a bonus!

Is perfect for peregrinos right along side the Camino. The staff was excellent and they offer breakfast for a modest price.

This hotel was great! Immaculate room and bathroom. Lovely garden to sit outside and enjoy the sun and breakfast optional. Perfect location for being able to go across to the beach and a good choice of places to eat within a few minutes walk. The host was friendly and so was the cat in garden. Definitely great value for money.

I liked the way the owner treated us, they were really friendly. Also, the views from the room were so cool, the beach is just next to the hotel.

Spacious air conditioned motel style room with a good shower. Beautiful gardens and outside sitting areas which would have been lovely to use had the weather been better.

It was a piece of heaven on our Camino, the host is super nice, garden is beautiful and they have 2 cute turtles and even cuter cat. 100% worth it!

Lovely grounds and such lovely staff. So friendly and smiling all the time. Property was brilliantly renovated and rooms in keeping with the look of classic Portuguese hacienda.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The shower was particularly good. The garden and outdoor area for relaxing was lovely.
