Pros +
- Wonderfully helpful and personable hosts!
- Location, facilities, and the service. I felt I was staying with family. I had the best time and the owner (Jose Manuel) and his son Fernando were the best people ever! They treated us like queens and shared with us the history of Vigo and surrounding areas. If we ever come back (and we will) we are definitely staying here again. Thank you so much! #besttomatoesintheworld ❤️
- Fernando and his father are the owners and incredibly attentive. They serve breakfast every morning and will make eggs any way you want —large amounts and good coffee. We had a flat tire the morning we were leaving and Fernando called the rental company for us and was incredibly helpful. What a blessing!
Cons -
- I booked at the last minute during a national holiday weekend - an expensive mistake!
- Extra pillows would be helpful for reading
- Noisy bars nearby but we knew authors in advance.

Excellent host. Clean comfortable room. Delicious freshly made breakfast. Great location.
Noisy bars nearby but we knew authors in advance.
Front desk staff when checking in. I think his name was Fernando. Super friendly and helpful with directions and things to see
Renovated 200-year-building, darling! with all amenities. Located in the Old City, one block from the open-air market, two blocks from the waterfront and near the bottom of the climb (or drive) up to the castle.
Nothing not to like! Father-son team were unbelievably hospitable, no breakfast buffet, but rather a cooked to order one, with fresh-squeezed orange juice.
The location was perfect, in the old town with lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel manager was very welcoming and friendly.
Very comfortable stay. Great location.
We had rented a car and was looking for a hotel with parking, this hotel was in the list of those. The only thing that the parking was not beside the hotel you had to leave the car at a paid parking a block away . That was the only negative thing. I would like to see this specified somewhere. So you don’t get surprises.
Perfect in every way. Staff excellent, rooms very good, great service
A little noisy from outside bars etc
The location and staff were great
It was so noisy, there is a bar right outside
Small but lovely room. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
Slow internet
Don’t think the location can be beaten Really lovely old style Spanish hotel Lovely balcony , spacious room , lovely hot shower , comfy bed and black out blinds Two great bars right outside the door Loved Vigo - went to Cies islands for one day , had some great food and wine Love to come back and would defintely stay here
Breakfast cooked to order and delicious. Hotel was small but furnished well. In an excellent location. The staff, father and son were wonderful and so helpful. They would provide anything you needed. Would go back again. This is my highest praise.
Perfect location! The staff is always available and very kind!
Due to its location it may get a bit noisy.
Juan Manoel and Fernando are extremelly friendly and helpful and that made our visit to Vigo much more enjoyable. They were happy to cook a great breakfast, exactly as we asked. The place is very cozy and is right at the entrance to the old town, where night life happens nicely until well after midnight.
This is a wonderful little hotel/accommodation in an amazing location in the old town section of Vigo. The owners are the kindest most welcoming people. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are super clean. Breakfast was terrific! Would stay here again without question!!
Wish we could have stayed longer.
Fernando went over and above the call of duty with his tips and suggestions of things to do and places to eat. Thanks so much for making our short stay so memorable. Hotel itself was well located, comfortable and full of character.
Such a lovely property in a really good location, with exceptional service from Fernando and his dad. The room was small but very clean.
The bed was exceptionally hard and as I’ve just had both hips operated on, was quite uncomfortable.
It’s right on the Camino. The bathroom was nice.
I had room 101. You’re basically in a basement with no air flow. You have a couple windows which face directly onto a street where people can look into the room. The bed was hard.
excellent location
central location means noisy at night. stuffy smell in some parts of the building.
