Good value. Excellent room. Quite.

Although this was a brief overnight visit, everything was fine and the staff friendly. I had a comfortable room and a good shower. Good value for money.
The Location was great.
The receptionists were friendly however the lady at the breakfast buffet was a tad rude it almost seemed like she was bothered by simple questions. She seemed like she hated her job and didn’t want anyone to talk to her. A smile goes a long way unfortunately this was the only bad experience about our stay. There’s a lot of unemployed ppl in Spain that would love her job.
I like that was close to the main station and to the city center
When I arrived, the receptionist informed me that she had upgraded our room. Happy with the news, I went to the room, only to find that it had a window overlooking a large void, which made me feel claustrophobic. I struggled to figure out how the air conditioning worked daily, as it was cold at night. The gym had a booking system, which I suppose is fine, but the receptionist mentioned that it could only be accessed if someone was available to let you in. I paid about the same price for a hotel in Porto just the day before, and that stay was superb by comparison. The breakfast was terrible; everything was cold, and there were only two croissants. I had to ask for more every time.
Clean. Quiet. Modern bathroom with step-in shower. Small room, but comfortable. Helpful friendly staff. Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping.to restaurants and shopping
View of the exterior building walls. Small elevator/lift, could be a challenge if you have multiple pieces of luggage, or families with small children using a stroller etc.
The staff who received me, very kind and nice woman.
The quality of the room seemed very basic, the underfloor heating was a bit soft and the room wasn't soundproofed at all. I would have liked to stream some films but the tv was too old for that.
the location
very poor service, the waitress was sneezing and caughing not covering her mouth, cleaning her nose and touching food. I would not have breakfast being handled by a sick person. it was the only restaurant available at 7 am.
It is a fine 3-star hotel with a familiar feeling. There is a café/restaurant. The guests were diverse (families, solo travellers, supposedly young same-sex couples, and groups of senior people). There is a small swimming pool, for which you can buy a swimming-cap for a small price at the front desk, and the temperature of the water was just fine. The breakfast had all the essentials (fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bread, jam, cheese, coffee, juice, etc.) plus gluten-free cookies - for a fair price. The room was large and had a modern shower. There is a bakery nearby, bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood and enough graffiti in the steep small streets around the area - it has its charm.
Communication was not always clear - but perhaps my non-native Spanish is to blame. It is over-priced for what you get. Swimming-pool installation is old. There were no towels. Cafeteria was supposed to open at 7 a.m. but at 8:40 I was told to wait till 9:00. Fortunately, the breakfast buffet was open, so I took that. The entrance was not clear, there are two doors but you are supposed to use only one - the other is kind of blocked by a chair.
The pool, location is good too, beside train stations and close to main shopping street
They let us keep our luggage at the hotel after we checked out and helped us call a taxi. They have a bar in the hotel.
The breakfast was bad. The eggs were so salty that we could not eat them. The room had no air conditioning. They told us they shut off the AC for the season and gave us a fan when we explained our room was too hot. The toilet was slow to flush but had a small water leak. The tub was slow to drain. The hair dryer did not work.
Clean and friendly and location
Room was clean and well presented. The pool was wonderful after a day of walking. Location was walking distance to the Main shopping area. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
Not being given extra towels for use with the pool.
Renovated old hotelRight next to the bus & train station and a great bakery Bathtub!!
Poor sound proofingLeaky toiletWater tasted bad
Good breakfast for 11 euro, close to Camino
For quite a high price even for Vigo, my room literally was closet sized, with a small window opening onto what appeared to be a ventilation shaft, which also contained a large drain pipe that rang out loud flushing noises, presumably when upper floor rooms flushed their toilets. Worst hotel experience in all my travels, ever. Front desk staff made no effort to speak English, and while I’m not snotty that way, they seemed hurried to finish my check-in. Strangely though, I stayed there last year, with a nice room and cordial service. Will not return to this hotel.
The pool was great after coming back from Santiago after the Camino
Expensive for what I got… single room
The kind front desk team was incredibly helpful . They helped my friend find his lost passport by calling taxi company - they were wonderful !
The shower
Room was very small and had very few amenities (e.g. closet, fridge, storage)
