Cons -
- Water leaks out of the bathtub. Water gets all over the bathroom floor when one showers
- Far from city center, but I knew that when I booked, so no big deal. Took a taxi to town & back for dinner.

The Staff and the Room space
Water leaks out of the bathtub. Water gets all over the bathroom floor when one showers

Far from city center, but I knew that when I booked, so no big deal. Took a taxi to town & back for dinner.
Comfortable and clean, with a delicious restaurant downstairs
It was a little on the pricier side.
Nice staff, good beds and pillows
Slow elevators, cigarette smell in the bathroom, outdated design.
Everything, the location: we were able to visit the city by foot and taking the public transportation, the staff was very kind we didn´t have any problem, the hotel room was perfect for our needs, everything on point
Nothing actually, when we visit Vigo again we will stay at Hotel Coia for sure.
Good staff they try their best to help u!
Linens and all room facilities are not satisfied!Pillows are out of the century super uncomfortable.Safe box never worked even we request several times. No dental, earbuds, cotton or in room tissues provided.
Easy to get to. Free parking and comfortable.
A bit far away from the centre.
Location, cleanliness and staff were wonderful. I had everything I needed.
Sadly, there was no AC option in the room in April.
Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Heating could only be stopped when stopping the ventilation.
parking free and breakfast was good
needs maintenance, bathroom sink was clogged, water will no go down.
The hotel was clean and next door to a big supermarket, which was helpful. This was marketed as a 4 star hotel but the amenities were below par for a 4 star. I would have expected some complementary water bottles, in room tea/coffee making facilities, slippers. They did not even provide an iron in the wardrobe. The room was nice and spacious but if you are expecting some luxury as it's 4 star then you will be disappointed.
Lack of amenities
Rooms were well clean and the staff was very friendly and professional.
The location is a bit removed from the city center.
The room was big and comfortable and the breakfast was good and with a lot of options.
Air condition didn’t work and was too hot inside the room, parking spot completely full. A bit far from a centre. And for a 4 star hotels I was expecting a bit more from it.
Room and parking
Elevador é pequeno e antigo
The room was large and I was able to work comfortably. The bed was really comfortable and we were allowed to leave our car in the car park after we checked out so we could take a bus into the town.
Breakfast was good, my only suggestion would be have a ceiling fan and AC wasn’t that great
From the outside, the hotel did not look stellar. All of Vigo in fact, if not a nice-looking city. I wouldn't bother with Vigo, unless you're visiting Cíes islands. Don't bother, really. You may want to consider traveling to Cíes from another location - haven't tried it, cannot tell if it's better. The inside was what I expected from the price. Clean, safe, good rooms. The staff was very accommodating. Everything was "no problem"/"sure"/"of course". This is what really got me, because when you start going into "budget", this is normally the first thing to go. Underpay the staff, etc. This was not the case at all. They basically said yes to everything I needed. We had breakfast there - very good value for money - does not pay to have breakfast anywhere else. Dinner was also surprisingly good. Very good dinner, really flavourful and made with quality ingredients and - again - for very good money. I would stay there if I had business, leisure, etc. would not even try to find another hotel in Vigo. Piece de resistance: FREE PARKING. Loved it! Underground too, felt totally safe to leave the car there.
Vigo as a city. The outside of the hotel reflects that and it's a shame, really.
The best part about this hotel was the receptionist. She was so very helpful when we wanted to order a pizza to be delivered. She was great.
The staff in the cafe were cranky, not very friendly. We ended up not eating there. Ordered pizza instead, which was very good.
What of the few hotels which offer ample parking for free. Literally next to a huge Alcampo where you can get anything form clothes, sovuenirs to food. It is also near the beach, 8-10 minute drive to Samil beach. It has a small gym well equipped. The beds are super comfortable. Thick curtains to block the light. No noise. One can sleep really well. The hotel's restaurant food is okay, huge portions. Relatively close by to other restaurants/ cafes. The hotel lays near a main road, the side walks have gardens. It is not central though. One needs a car to move around or use public transport.
I know the area and have stayed in the hotel before. Parking was my main concern and the hotel offers ample parking for free. If you are without a car and for a short visit, I would not recommend it. There are other hotels in the heart of the city. The hotel is old, last renovation was done some 15 years ago.
