    Pros +

    • Outstanding place, hotel , service and restaurant
    • Perfect
    • It is a nice property but the service was not 5 star based on the check in experience, the spa and the food & beverage. We booked spa services. The spa was overcrowded and the locker room facilities were too small for the number of people taking services and using the water experiences. The staff was very kind and apologetic. The restaurant was average. Again, the service was not great. It is in a great location along the Coastal Way. The property seems to have a lot of unique history, but unfortunately explaining the story of the location did not seem to be a part of the guest experience. It has a lot of potential, but I would not describe this as a luxury hotel.

    Cons -

    • Stay more days
    • Wished that the size of the double bed was bigger..They are too small to fit 2 adults comfortably. Plus the mattress was uncomfortable to sleep on
    • Liked it all.

This hotel is exceptional! Staff, rooms, and food was exceptional. It is within walking distance to Museo delMar. We had breakfast and fine dining at their restaurant. Aroa was professional and went above and beyond to make our dining experience special!

The beautiful grounds and wonderful, helpful staff.

Beautiful property and grounds. Enjoyed a sea view room in the palace and loved the comfortable room and private terrace. Just outside the Bouzas neighborhood which was great to explore and within easy walking distance. Also very close to Maritime Museum which was very interesting. Too busy relaxing and exploring to enjoy the spa but their offerings look wonderful.

    Liked it all.

view, hospitality of the staff, the location, very quiet environment

the only thing I would improve would be more waste baskets in the room

Beautiful property with pool however it was outside of the main area of Vigo that we wanted to be in. We enjoyed the robes and the comfortable beds. There is a coffee maker in the room however there is a charge for it and the bottles water provided. We ate at the Italian restaurant on the property and it was delicious. Little corner stores nearby were an option to also pick up snacks and drinks.

It was a clean modern hotel.

The staff at the spa did not explain themselves well probably due to a language issue and actually yelled at some of the members in our group. We also asked if there was a breakfast included and the front desk didn't tell us it was 39 euros plus tax... and it was just okay. Coffee was great and so was the lady who made it but I could have made do with a muffin and a coffee from a shop outside..

There is a charger, close to the beach, a beautiful garden, two delicious restaurants

the hotel is quite old, even hotel guests have to pay for visiting the indoor pool and sauna

    10LisaPosted on: 4-12-2025

The staff were wonderful. They upgraded our room on arrival free of charge which was fabulous. Would definitely recommend.

My husband was disappointed with the octopus in the restaurant but everything else was lovely and the staff were friendly and very polite.

It was a beautiful property with views facing the ocean and a great beach out front! The picture of the “castle like” structure you see, isn’t where most people stay, it is in another building, more modern.

It is located a long distance from the Camino trail, which I should have investigated myself. So a taxi was needed to get to the hotel. The breakfast wasn’t included and was 21 euros per person, which seemed very expensive for the buffet style set up.

Beautiful pazo set in a beautiful location

A bit far from the city centre, but you can take a taxi for €8-9

Fantastic location, very comfortable rooms and very friendly staff.

We decided to splurge on our rest day layover and the hotel did not disappoint. Huge room with private terrace and bay view, comfy beds with luxury linens, and spa services. Breakfast Buffett was $$ but a wide array of delicious options. Lobby cafe bar was lively with locals on our weekend nights. Grounds are lovely and very quiet. Outdoor pool is lovely.

Hotel location is a long way from the main city areas, so there are few restaurants nearby.
