The location was close to the Camino, The pool was very nice - cold but this was appreciated as it was hot and we had been walking all day.

Lovely room with comfortable beds and nice deck and chairs to sit outside.

    9JuLynnPosted on: 9-25-2025

I stayed here the night before starting the Camino. I took a taxi from the train station. Check-in was smooth and easy. The room was spotless and modern with a very nice deck and a comfortable bed. I slept like a baby and recovered from my jet lag. It’s right on the Camino path and they have a stamp. Would highly recommend.

    Can’t think of anything negative.

Convenient location and cleanAlso had a pool to jump in after a long day walking the Camino

    Location near shops and restaurants

Smokers below on the patio had smoke drifting in to my room. Not sure how that can be avoided though.

Good location right on Camino route. A bit far from the ferry, though, if you want to go it’s 45 min walk. Very friendly staff, room is clean and comfortable

No breakfast, no air conditioner in early June (only provider heat at the time), room and corridors can get very hot. I left windows opened in the night.

The room was comfortable and the lady and the front desk was so kind. There are plenty of restaurants and stores in walking distance.

I booked it not realizing how far off path it was from the Camino de Santiago.

    all very modern and clean

they had no back- up lighting system when the huge power cut hit Spain and Portugal. Will be small investment for future.

Staff were helpful and efficient. The bed was comfortable.

The laminate flooring was old and looked unclean. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom.

What a wonderful find. As soon as you walk though the door you find a clean, modern hotel with friendly staff. The room was extremely comfortable & had a bath- a bonus for a pilgrim like me. It is a short walk to the old town area that has lots of restaurants & bars. The staff however were the standout. I interacted with 3 different staff on reception & their customer service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice area, comfortable room, clean. Good advice from the staff where to go for dinner.

    10JoliPosted on: 10-7-2024

Staff are friendly and helpful, love having a terrace, grocery store nearby and a bar.

This is definitely a hotel punching above its weight and shows how much good design can offer. Does it meet my ‘why can’t they seem to ever get this right’ criterion, does the shower flood the bathroom floor? Yes, it’s fine, bathroom floor is perfectly dry. Does it cover the basics: comfortable bed, decent size room, plenty of hot water, good location, free parking? Certainly it does; the parking is covered and easily accessible, necessary as street parking is very limited, and there’s a convenient bus stop just outside the hotel. Does it go beyond the basics? Two features stand out: an excellent, huge terrace outside the room’s French windows and the staff were incredibly friendly with good English. No catering though, but a decent bar/restaurant just across the road and within easy walk of numerous bars and restaurants and easy walk of the waterfront. There’s a coffee machine in the lobby but it wasn’t working during our stay.

Spacious room with large balcony area. Bathroom had bath with shower hose and very good water pressure. Free parking, subject to availability. No breakfast options but two nearby bar/cafes were very good. A supermarket is also nearby.

If you want a beach there is a small one with cafe/restaurants 10 min walk, otherwise walking to the old town and shops is 40 mins plus away.À bus service also runs.

Staff! Amazing lady at check-in and fast smooth check-out too. Clean. Comfortable. Economic. Loved it!

A bit outside city center but I knew this when I booked so I can't complain now about it.

Parking was niceCoffee machine in the lobby (the coffee was so-so though)Walking distance to some nice bars

    1. Since the room door handle is missing, we have a second key that we can use to open the door from the inside. 2. The Air Conditioner created a lot of noise rather than making the room temperature comfortable. It's very old. 3. We asked for anything special due to our special dates (birthday/anniversary) and received nothing. Nothing at all.

    6AnabelPosted on: 7-29-2024

The balcony and the two good bed. Good bathroom area

Smell of tabaco at the room and the lack of ventilation on bathroom
