Hotel Maroa Vigo

Very comfortable and excellent breakfast! The staff prepared eggs to order quickly with plenty of other breakfast choices. The rooftop patio had outstanding views. The entire staff was helpful and courteous.

Wow, this is a great Hotel. The location was amazing, the staff was super helpful, the room was spacious and lovely. RIght in the center of everything, yet looking out at the ocean. Could not have hoped for more! Would absolutely return.

The property is very nice and comfortable. Close to everything. Having room service available is certainly a plus and the bar up on the 7th floor is very nice.

The location is great.Parking is in an underground parking lot nearby (3 min walk), with many large spots.The Wifi is good (50-100 mbps), with a stable connection.

The person (young woman who reminded me of Penelope Cruz) at front desk when I arrived was simply the best. She made me feel welcome and comfortable after a very long day walking the Camino. Hotel is very close to Camino too.

Include breakfast.

This was one of our favourite stops on the Camino! Pictures don’t do it justice, or maybe images just haven’t been updated. Stunning place, friendly, rooftop bar was lovely. Made us want to return to Vigo for more than one night!

Netflix didn’t work and no English channels.

Nice, modern, clean hotel in a quiet neighborhood close to the old town.

I asked for a top-floor room, which I usually ask for to avoid noise from other clients. I got a top-floor room, but there was another floor above for the bar and breakfast. We could hear music from the bar well past 10 pm and quite a bit of noise in the morning before 7 am, which I assume was the staff getting ready to serve breakfast. The safe did not work, and even if it did, it was not bolted down. Someone could just pick it up and walk away with it.There were no bath mats in the bathroom for coming out of the shower, and no glasses for water. The pillows were quite uncomfortable.I don't usually nitpick about the hotels we stay in. We spend 3 months a year, travelling and working in Europe, so we stay in quite a few different places. This hotel has a 4-star rating, and in my opinion, it does not come close to this level.

Great location near the marina and old town. Quiet streets. Liked the rooftop bar, which is where the fabulous breakfast was served. Mixed bag of staff - mostly amazing, a few grumpy or inefficient.

The wind up/down blinds are very noisy and unless I missed it, there was no a/c that we could control in the room, or tea/coffee making facilities. It looked and felt more like a 3-star hotel then a 4-star but the price and location more than made up for that.

Very nice hotel, room. Terrace on top floor. Nice part of town, old section, near a square and park. Smart TV we could watch Netflix!

As usual, can't find a restaurant for dinner before 7 or 7:30. It was raining!

The staff were super helpful - everyone was outstanding from front desk to cafeteria on 7th floor

Amazing apartment, great and very helpful staff, great location, sumptuous breakfast. We had to leave early morning and they even opened the breakfast earlier for us. Thank you!

That was my second time in this hotel - this time I had very small room - my friends got bigger even though they have the same type and price.

Super nice staff, great location with a view, comfy room and very good breakfast!

We couldn't turn off the heating in the room, although it is December and its cold, the room was a bit to hot.

The room was spacious and warm, the communication with the staff was very pleasant and friendly. Adding the parking was very easy and we appreciated the loading/unloading free parking hotel spot. Everything was pretty straightforward. Complementary bottles of water and some sweets were a nice touch. Breakfast is ok and the view from the breakfast space was lovely.

The room needed a bit of refreshment, the mattress/bed was loud and a bit noisy but this is truly nitpicking.

Really appreciate the guidance and helpfulness of the front desk staff! And we wish we had taken advantage of the hotel breakfasts earlier in our stay. It was very good and better than a couple of restaurants we tried.

The outdoor rooftop bar was lovely, but too cold for us in December. We wish that the lighting inside the bar was more ambient (dimmer) and less like an operating room.

Great rooms, beautiful view from balcony, amazing breakfast buffet with made to order eggs and gluten free items available. Close to lots of shopping and restaurants in a nice part of town. Felt very safe.

The bathroom floors were very slippery - beware!
