NH Ourense

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. The breakfast at this hotel was over the top- everything to choose from! The really nice part about the hotel was the sauna and thermal area.

Well situated close to old town area(max 10-15 min.walk). We got un upgrade for a junior suite which was much larger than a usual hotel room is Spain. For those who are shy bathroom wall is glass made ? but there is a shader inside so some parts can be hidden? Absolut positive point that windows can be opened, which can be rare nowadays. Parking had really large space for all cars-just across the street 50 m away (not underground garage).

Breakfast a little less copious than in a usual 4 star hotel but you can get all the usual food in good quality.

Room space was good

During the night, there was a noise like a motor that is starting, coming somewhere from the inside of the hotel, maybe related to the climatization system

Great staff, excellent bar on the corner just next door, easy to find on street parking nearby, good shower, comfy bed, i would definitely stay again and will do so

the shower tray wasnt practical with water leaking into bathroom - small gripe, otherwise great hotel and go ahead and book

The place is really nice, with friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Had a lot of variety for all the people - gluten free, vegetarian, etc. The room is spacious, with comfy beds and a amazing shower. The location is ok, you don't need to walk much and there are amenities around.

We went to Ourense during Carnaval to enjoy some time away relaxing at the thermal waters. It was really difficult to find parking once we got there and the staff informed that we could park the car on the streets around, we only needed to pay for the morning after. No one informed that there was parking available, so we went out and drove for 30 minutes to find no parking nearby. We returned and were told that they have parking for 16 euros something a day - it was already 4pm, and we were leaving next day around 11. We paid 100 euros a night, and before I spoke to the staff, I heard a couple paying 60 for the same night as us. For a 4 star hotel, 16 euros a day (or for us less than that) in my opinion is outrageous. Would also be nice to have an extra blanket in the room for the customers who choose to sleep without heating on.

Location is good in the city center.

The bed was just not good. Small. Hard. And every movement would wake up the other. Just a terrible bed which made us sleep terrible.

Great location , quiet room, and nice staff. We had a car and we parked it at the hotel. Very convenient.

The room was excellent: clean, very spacious, great deco, and very quiet. The bed was large and very comfortable. The mini-bar was basic but useful. We appreciated the bottle of complementary water. The facilities to make tea and coffee in the room were excellent. The staff was very polite and helpful. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel experience we have had in Ourense, and we have been to quite a few hotels in the city over the years.

Decoration feels like out of the 90s, shower has limescale that's been there for stoeast a year. Not what I expected from a 4 stars hotel

Good location. Comfortable bed. Excellent information assistance from staff. We were there for two nights and as usual we opted not to have a cleaning/laundry service during our stay. As a a reward for this eco choice we received a drinks voucher for the pleasant roof top bar.

I stay at a lot of hotels and visit Ourense at least every other year. The NH is a terrific spot with a great front-desk and wonderful rooms. Everything felt fresh and new. The level of cleanliness and attention to detail was impeccable. The bed was very good and the shower was first-rate.They have a small but beautiful rooftop bar with light bites too. Very good service here as well. This stylish and attractive spot -- much like the lovely city of Ourense, its people -- is a winner.

A welcoming hotel with friendly staff, large room with a very comfortable bed and good air conditioning (it was 35C when we were there). We parked in the secure garage, personally 15 euro per night seemed very reasonable.

The bathroom with a glass window with a blind looking onto the room is a bit impractical if you use it in the night and don't want to wake others up by turning on the light.
