Pros +

  • The building and facilities were cozy and close to everything. There are free bikes for the guests (first come first served) which was really convenient. The bathrooms were always clean.
  • The worst experience ever! Do not recommend for visiting! The reception is rude and doesn’t have manners! It’s a total ripoff!!!!! The room costs us 200 euro for one night! But they asked us to pay 80 euro for sheets and towels! Some of them were with spots! And the woman on reception told me that we can’t use the second higher part of bunk bed cause we bout 3 sheets and we had to buy another one for using the second floor of the bunk bed!
  • Absolute gem of a place! - beautifully decorated, very hyggeligt, very clean and the breakfast is just fantastic! Ulla is the most welcoming and lovely host. Very central, and you just can walk or use the free bikes to go to the beach or anywhere. We would most definitely book there again. We loved it.

Cons -

  • The room could use more electric plugs as we could only find one, which also connected the lights in the room.
  • The chairs are so old and shabby and they staggered once I sat on them!
  • We got a (lovely) room with two single beds, but a sloping wall over one of the beds, so not much room there. But we pulled the bed out a little bit for sleeping, and then it was fine.

The staff and, especially, the owner were very friendly and helpful. The room and the whole property surprised us with how charming they looked. The neighborhood (and most of the small town) is great. The breakfast was fantastic, and even the spa area was a pleasant surprise (in that we didn’t think we’d use it, but were then convinced otherwise – and did not regret it).

Only small stuff: the rooms were not that sound-proof, especially at night it was a bit annoying to hear other guests arriving, leaving or going to the toilet. Also, the sink in the bathroom was rather tiny.

Ulla the owner is a “larger than life”-personality. So warm and sweet. The hostel is great, wonderful communal areas, everything build in high quality materials, stylishly decorated and kept superclean. Hostel-stay here is better quality than most hotels.

Probably it was my best hotel experience ever, personal was super nice, the hotel also has wellness spa, hot tube, sauna, free bikes, a very equiped kitchen and a wonderful breakfast. It could be definitely a place to come back many times.

Really welcoming and friendly hotel, staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was a highlight with heaps of fresh fruit , cold meats and cheese, eggs and delicious bread. Setting was perfect, close to harbour and ferry.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, optional breakfast, and sauna (for additional fee). Also have free bikes (first come, first serve).

Bunk beds are a bit low on the bottom (can’t sit up straight). Linen and towels cost more than expected, though that may be the norm for Denmark (we are visiting from the US).

it was clean! close to everything we needed and the owner was very kind and ensured we had the best time.

- I liked everything

Morgenmaden var helt i top.

Madrasser er alt, alt for hårde. Welss alt, alt for dyrt. 250 kr. for 1 time.

The hotel is well located, and is beautifully decorated. It is more of a hostel then a hotel. It has a few rooms set-up as hotel, but they are small extremally small. Breakfast has good options. Free bikes are available to use around town, which was amazing! There is always fruit at the front desk, to grab.

Lack of space to place things. Bad smell in the bathroom. We requested a full bed, room had 2 twin beds, one under a slanted roof which made sleeping, and moving uncomfortable.

breakfast was very various and with fresh and good products.

bathroom outside the room is not very convenient

10RebeccaPosted on: 7-4-2022

Lovely accomodations, modern and clean. The location was wonderful and we adored the bikes that were available for guests to use. We used them quite often to explore the surrounding town.

It was a very bad hotel. You will not go there. Next time, I will never go to this hotel. They take extra money from everyone.
