Marmari Bay Hotel

Everything was perfect and the view breathtaking, the staff were professional kind and very nice in general.

everything was amazing there was nothing negative. I have a gluten allergy as well and they made sure to have special gluten free treats for me for breakfast which i really appreciated.

Staff were great. The hotel has a great ambiance, very relaxing. Gorgeous pool! Great views. Seasonal restaurant and breakfast were good and hotel accommodated our vegan diet.

Shower was tiny. One bed very squeeky!

The pool and the staff’s attitude!

The rooms need to be renovated. There was an unpleasant smell, and overall the price is quite high for what you get. Breakfast was also quite basic.

It's a strong 3 star hotel. Nice , friendly people everywhere, willing to satisfy your needs right away.

I had two rooms and although the bathrooms were ....cozy and everything was functioning well, some small details like rusty parts of sinks, too small shower space, and annoying shower curtains might get you a bit upset.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating, the hotel was spotless, and the Italian restaurant by the pool provided excellent service and delicious dishes!Breakfast buffet had a good selection and was renewed often. Fully recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway relatively close to Athens.

The breakfast was beyond my expectations!

I didn't like the fact that my room and the room next door to me had some type of plumbing issues where the toilet made noise every 2 seconds all day and night. Staff was able to accommodate me to another room just for a few hours of sleep until maintenance came. When maintenance did come, the problem seemed like it was fixed. Once I used the bathroom again, the same noise started and wouldn't stop. I feel that all rooms and issues should be resolved/ checked before they are available for reservation. This is why I give it a 7 and not a 10. Thank You.

Clean and quiet hotel with friendly staff. Exceptional view of the bay from the rooms and the restaurant. Very good location. 10 min walk from the city center.

Breakfast could have been better. Every day scrambled eggs. It gets boring. They could change to fried eggs every other day.Keep in mind that they don't change sheets & towels unless you throw them in the shower.

The rooms should be renovated, the bathroom was fine though, the pillows and mattresses are not so comfortable, the breakfast could be more rich, but it was not bad

The resort itself was very nice. Comfortable and clean. Staff exceptionally helpful regarding bus trip we wished to take. All staff very friendly and helpful.

I don't know where to start.I haven't had such a good experience for a long time.The property is a family business and as a visitor you can see and feel it every minute. You are welcome and you are treated as a friend. Staff is always there when you need them and help you with whatever you may need. I did not hear "no" as an answer although I had many questions about different services and things which were not even related to the hotel. So they do not only care about the hotel but also about the place they are operating in.Hotel is located in Marmari which is a small village in Evia. You can Rafina-Marmari ferry to get there. From the port it's reachable by foot, but if you have a lot of things or have some trouble walking I would recommend to take a taxi as the hotel is located on top of the hill and the road is pretty steep.Our room was perfect. It was big enough and had a balcony facing the sea and the pool.Breakfast was simple but good. I would suggest to have an option to order a proper cappuccino for an extra fee as they make great coffee, but the one they have for breakfast is not as good.Pool is fantastic. Water is clean and not too warm. And what is absolutely brilliant - they are not using usual chloride but some kind of salt, so the water is gentle for eyes does not leave any bad smell to your swimwear.And now we get to the biggest surprise. I have been really sceptical about hotel restaurant and I still will be in the future, but this poolside restaurant was something different. It all starts with great people who work with passion. The service there was spot on and should be an example to many restaurants.The food was DELICIOUS! We did not plan to eat there that much, but found ourselves having a dinner two times + some snacks as well. And if you want to have your food paired with a good wine, ask for John who will find the perfect match to your appetiser, main or dessert.

There is literally one thing I did not like about my stay and it was the shower curtain. But that was the only thing.

- The AC is too cold in the rooms and completely absent in common areas (corridors, main hall, reception, etc)- Very antiquated décor and room amenities

The kindness of the staff, good pool and restaurant by the pool. With small kids the playground was also a positive thing. Great view of the city.

The bed was too hard, there was also a strong sewage smell in the bathroom. Some tiles had broken and not sealed up properly. Also some frame pieces had broken. The air con was old and without filter blowing some low quality air which caused coughing at nights for the whole family.

Quiet place, close to the beach .Good breakfast.

Everithing was as expected.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the facilities with the view from the pool were just amazing. Will definitely go there again.
