    Pros +

    • Really cosy family run establishment surrounded by vineyards.
    • This is a beautiful place to stay! The hosts were exceptional. The breakfast was delicious. They served grapes right off of their grapevines that were so sweet! The room was beautiful as well as comfortable! The views from the property were beautiful.
    • Everything! The road up to the property has asphalt. The view is very nice. The surroundings are quiet. One of the best sleeping experiences.Breakfast was great. It's a place to return!

    Cons -

    • It was a little hard to find in the dark but the host saw us turn around because we thought we were lost and got in his car and came and found us and directed where to go.
    • The tv wasn’t working and it was old technology but everything else being exceptional made it seem like the least important
    • Just little things in the design. We stayed in the middle of January, our room had heating and we were toasty warm, but there was no heating in the bathroom. The bathroom had a huge corner bath, but for an overnight stay we prefer a quick shower and the lack of a shower curtain resulted in a sodden bathroom floor. There weren’t enough power sockets to charge the things modern life has given us.

Amazing views over lake and Veria. Very convenient with car, parking just at the door. The atmosphere brings you back in time with a nice taste. Chimney in the common area was fired with some classical music which created a perfect relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a nice glass of wine. Room was spacious with traditional wooden ceiling and closet. Bed and pillows were confortable. Room was heated when we arrived through air heating. Breakfast very good, with greek pastries and sweets, and abundant.

A very interesting place, how often do you get to stay at a place that was designed and built by the owner? We stayed in the middle of January and I think we were the only people staying so we got a very personal service. My wife spent some time sharing recipes with the chef, who is the owner’s wife.

Great accommodation, run by super helpful and kind hosts. Its aesthetic is old and rusty, in a good way of course, it made us feel cozy even after just arriving there. They upgraded our room from deluxe to superior and prepared lunch for us even without previous notice that we were planning to eat there. They explained the local sights of Vergina and how to get to all the museums. The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. 10/10 and would definitely visit again!

The host is wonderful, friendly and informative. The views are spectacular to take in with a lovely glass of wine.

Beautiful location, with gorgeous views and space around the property. Our rooms were ready, perfectly clean and prepared with the AC on. The owners were welcoming and really friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a great location on the top of a hill. It was perfect to have dinner on the terrasse watching the beautiful view. We were there with our 1 year old baby and they had a cot and a high chair. They also made some smooth food for our baby, which we appreciated :) The couple who own the place is super lovely and their wine is delicious. You should try it. :)

Amazing location, breakfast very nice,Shower water pressure and mattress very good. Stuff very friendly.

Very hard to think of something we didn’t like.

    10AshurPosted on: 6-23-2024

The location is great. Private, on a hill, romantic and peaceful.

Beautiful position in a comfortable modern pastiche of an Ottoman style building. Fine garden.very convenient for visiting Macedonian royal tombs

Real orange juice and decent bread at breakfast

It is a very unique place. It is a small winery decorated like a historical mention. It has a beautiful view and is very peaceful. We stayed in a deluxe room, and it was clean and good size.

The only thing we didn't like was the shower. When you have a shower, the water goes everywhere.

    10HelenPosted on: 5-10-2024

Grand property on a vineyard with incredible views over the winery to Veria. It is a family affair, very friendly and inclusive. Food and drinks all served outside under a bougainvillea topped pergola.

    10PaulPosted on: 4-9-2024

Lovely building in a great location. Very quiet and with great views. Only a short distance from the historical tomb and palace sites. Owners extremely friendly and helpful.

    9OclockPosted on: 3-26-2024

Lovely place, cozy, nicely decorated. The room was large, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom spacious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

    9AnthonyPosted on: 1-28-2024

The owners were extremely hospitable. Small place and very personal service. Hotel is made to look like something from the past and that includes furniture--however the furnishings are not comfortable.. Dinner was terrific. The setting is fantastic. The junior suite has a very large bathtub/jaccuzi which is not suited to having a quick shower. Best not to get this room again.

No electricity plugs near the bad, No coffee machine. A Nespresso machine would be a good addition.
