VOI Arenella Resort

I liked the facilities of the resort, it was clean and well kept. The apartment I had exceed my expectation.

Breakfast was too early for holiday, in my opinion. The walk when you are in the furthest apartment can be a bit of a pain

The nature around, both beaches are beautiful and you can walk the entire distance between them (the entire circuit has 1.6km and I recommand to see the sunrise). The complex is nice itself, it is enough space for anybody. I recomand the end of the season (end of september), there are not so many people, but the temperatures of the air and water are very pleasant. Food: morning croissants are excellent, the evening red wine is ok.

We had breakfast and dinner and they lacked at the variety of the food (only one restaurant open at the end of september). For example, in the morning no vegetables options. The coffee was not the same in each day and it was rapidely finished without replacing... (valid also for juices or bread or eggs etc.). But, overall, the food was good (not something to remember).No activity for children in october.The rooms was medium clean, for example, on the walls or windows there were still the insects crushed during the last weeks/months...

The rooms and meals were really nice. The beach and nature around the resort are very pretty. The facilities are very good too, we used the gym and the bars around.

The biggest issue for us was a gentleman passing away on the dancefloor one evening. He had a heart attack and there was no trained staff to help out, only 3 doctors who were guests at the hotel. The AED took 20 minutes to arrive and the ambulance 40 minutes. At that point the gentleman had already passed away. This was a horrible experience for the family and even for the guests and left a bad taste.

It was really nice and clean, close to the beach which you can reach by a small train.

The breakfast was really poor, without any vegetables. It wasn’t various at all. We could only choose croissant, marmelade, nutella, 2 kind of cold cut, kind of bread.

It’s nice that you have security of a resort if you are uncomfortable staying in other countries. I felt very safe while I was there.

The food served here is a disgrace to Italian cuisine. Everything else is fine. The all inclusive drinks were a definite plus

Room was a bit basicBut we had checked regarding EV charging and the information we were giving was incorrect. Regarding fees and times, which was an added stress on our trip & we had already previously emailed in order to confirm all of the EV charging details prior to the trip.Staff tried to accommodate around these issues, but still wasn't resolved to our full expectations. Had we been informed about these restrictions it wouldn't have been our first choice of hotel, as we came for the convenience of this charger.Staff not always knowing location of certain areas of hotel.As I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend I was a bit disappointed overall

Location, beach, pool and dinner were great.

Breakfast was really poor. It’s all based on sugar and prefabricated food. While the dinner is great, made with love is the breakfast creapie. Each morning the same struggle for a healthy person. Also the tennis racket facilitates were bad. Played with a broken racket

Not getting the option of all-inclusive based on our room choice (premium) The restaurant was not open until 19:30 for dinner so it was really busy, chaotic and noisyA la carte service was poor - waited 30 mins for the main course which had been forgotten then no apology Double bed was 2 singles pushed together so you could feel the divide Staff at reception wanted to do the bare minimum and refer you to other people instead. Getting a taxi was not an easy task! Nearest place to walk to is 5km / 1 hour away No shop onsite for buying water etc Food in general was disappointing and very same-y

Combination of facilities, wonderful beach, short shuttle, very good food. Helpful and nice personal. A lot of options for activities and relax.

The humidity in the room was high level and doors of the balcony can’t be partly opened for ventilation. No mosquito coverage of the doors/windows. The breakfast was the same every morning but delicious.

The property had everything from 2 pools, a little train that took you too a beach with life guard as BD they had bus’s that would take you into the heart of Siracusa. The food was lovely and it came with drinks.

The staff at the bars and cafe were completely rude to foreigners, this property is set up for Italian speaking guests only and not for people who cannot speak Italian. For this reason only I would not stay here again. I can speak minimal Italian and am ok with being in places that cannot speak English, it’s part of the fun with travelling, new experiences but the staff definitely do not like it. They are at the point of being mean.

Great food, clean environment, beautiful pools and green open areas. Animation staff , waiters and chefs all friendly with a big smile on their face. Loved the acqua gym.

Nothing to complain about

The facilities and surroundings were very well kept. Food was also very good.

The resort mainly caters for Italians. Even though I speak fluent Italian, it was hard for my husband to ask for what he needed as no one really spoke in English and also for my son to join kids club for the same reason. You pay for these facilities and you cannot really use them. Also I believe we weren't given enough information about what the voi family club really included. Nonetheless we had a lovely time.

Overall it was good. Very good food. Large pools. Large room with terrace and comfortable bed. Resort kept clean. Shower rooms for patrons making late check-out.

Room was not 4-star level. A/C noisy and leaking. Quality of drinks available for all-inclusive patrons was low. People struggling to find a seating at the (only) venue where evening entertainment took place. Not treated well at the Beach Bar allocated to VOI patrons (they complained we occupied the seating for too long despite continuous consumption of food and drinks). Restaurant seating was random. WIFI quality not consistent,

Lots of plastic and disposable stuff in a "Eco Friendly" announced resort, cleaning was not perfect, size of the fitness room

we very much enjoy the pool and the beach communication pre-booking was also very goodlocation - very close to beautiful Sycasusa, beaches, Noto, Modica, and Ragusa. So there is plenty to do in the surroundings.

the resort itself is outdated, and the property itself it is not properly cleaned (a lot of small trash laying around everywhere)buffet was very disappointing, quite a bit of variety in food but it was not very good. outside of season there is not much happening. we were promised 'soft programme' in terms of kids activities which then only meant 10 minute disco each evening but nothing else. That was a bummer since we chose this resort especially so our kids are entertained. Overall it was okay but I dont think we will be returning.

The rooms need an upgrade, everything is falling apart. cleaning is not great.

our 48th wedding anniversary holiday which we had planned so much was ruined

600 euros were stolen from our room. In spite of putting a ‘no disturb sign ‘ on our door the room was entered and the money disappeared ruining our 48 wedding anniversary. we were promised a voucher to make up for our loss and asked to send an email for it and the email was blocked! and we never got anything
