Very dated, no elevator. Furniture was ancient . Not extremely clean.

The location is perfect as so close to both train and bus station. Great supermarket 5 minutes walk away. Also close to all major attractions and historical buildings. Staff so helpful and friendly. I would certainly stay again. I extended 4 nights!

A very short walking distance from the railway and long distance bus station. This is an old style property. Check in was OK and a passport details quickly captured for the registration. €2 city tax payable by cash as the room has already been prepaid. Room was OK. Comfortable bed and bathroom in reasonable condition. I left too early to take breakfast which would have been an extra amount.

I couldn't use the WiFi and the reception said the code on display didn't work! One bathroom niggle was a dispenser for body wash/shampoo would have been better than the hard to tear open sachets. I'd say not the best value for money based on the price paid.

Friendly staff, central location. Clean, little bit old-fashioned room. Free parking in a front of the hotel.

Heating in the room didn't work, however the staff fixed it well. No breakfast available on 1 January 2025.

We did not have breakfast, but rather went two blocks to a 24-hour cafe, which was perfectly OK for our needs. The hotel's location is excellent: half a block to the central train station, and a few blocks to intercity buses. Walking to the main street, Via Umberto, took a few minutes.

Before I arrived I informed the hotel that I have osteoarthritis & problems with my spine so needed a room that was easily accessible.I was given the furthest possible room from the entrance with absolutely no facilities & as th hotel only served breakfast, I had to go out every evening to eat. Staff were friendly & polite but although they knew I was struggling & inpain didn’t help me carry anything to my room which was up about 40 steps.

We used the hotel for just one night during our road trip to Sicily. The staff was very kind and since the hotel had no parking, they let us use the space on the street in front of the hotel, which was very much appreciated.

Inexpensive older traditional hotel, slightly tired (no plugs in sink or bidet, shelf absent in bathroom). No lift, 4 flights to second floor. Friendly staff, very close to bus station so great access on bus to Ortigia. Some free parking in street outside.

Close to the station. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. Everything worked including the aircon thankfully. There’s a grey parrot in the lobby which is cool.

There is no lift (not a bother for us but may be for others) and my pillow was a bit hard (minor).

It was close to the bus stop and the station.

There is no refrigerator, and it is difficult to charge mobile devices.

The location is good as it is 5 minutes away from the train station and 10 minute walk from the island or Ortigia. Breakfast has be improved a bit it is very basic. The staff at reception is very helpful and kind.

The cleanliness can improve especially in areas like under the beds, beds can be done with more love not just a throw over of the sheets.

Not all of the staff speaks English, but they are all very friendly. Convenient location next to the train station.

A bit outdated, airco didn't seem to work, TV didn't work, we got the remote control at the reception which was a bit weird. Breakfast very basic. We seemed to be the only guests. Overall a pleasant experience, but do not expect too much.

Honestly we only stayed one night and went to bed early so had no issues, aside from a stiff neck. Maybe could have more substantial pillows.

The guy who checked me in was friendly and assisted me with my bag. I also got an early check in due to my arrival. I was able to store my bag after check out until my bus departure in the evening. The location to the station was great. However, on observation there are other accomodation choices.

When I booked, my booking included a breakfast. The next morning after my arrival I enquired when and where was breakfast. I was told there was no breakfast. In addition, my toilet didn't flush and I informed staff. No action was taken. I had to use the toilet in reception. There was no effort to compensate me. Very poor experience.

Lovely hotel right near the train station. I was able to leave my bags at reception because I arrived too early for check which was very helpful. The room was bright and airy with a large bathroom. I had a very comfortable night's sleep.

No kettle in room to make tea.
