Borgo Marino Plemmirio

Very quite lifestyle and enjoyable stay. He has 3 dogs but they are very cute and friendly. The room we had was very well kept and clean. He gave went in the morning while we were gone to clean up the room and tidy up. We came back there were fresh towels and tided down bed. The pool is extremely clean and the lights are on at night so it looks very beautiful. Over all, very satisfying stay and definitely top choice for visiting Siracusa for Americans.

The photos should be updated a lil because the place is obviously a lil older but still looks amazing.

I overall liked the place a lot. The staff is very kind, even if communication can be a bit hard sometimes because of the language barrier. The place looks lovely and clean. We especially loved the pool, great place to hang around. The rooms are not big, but big enough for what you need. And the bed was very comfortable. The room service will also make your room nice and tidy everyday if you would want. Would highly recommend.

There could be a lot of noise. Especially in the morning when the cleaning came. When they knocked on the opposite door of us it sounded like they knocked on our door. That's why a do not disturb sign would be good, if you don't want the room to be cleaned and want to sleep in. Otherwise you will be woken up by room service. The refrigerator was making a lot of noise. It's also good to mention that the hotel has 4 pretty large dogs, that can bark at you when you come in. I think the hotel should include that in the description.

Located in a quiet area, free parking, easy check-in, swimming pool, you must have a car, 2 bedrooms, no living room in the room, no kitchen, there is a common kitchen.

Had a nice stay in Syracuse. The propery is situsted in a quiet residential area about 18 mts away from Ortigia. Great beach club and restaurants nearby. The pool was excellent , the kids had a blast. Vincenzo was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Due to our late arrival, the staff had to wait at the premises for the check inThey were willing to provide me with extra sugar when neededThey provided me with an internet connection at the reception (as the internet connection inside the rooms was not working )

1. No internet connection inside the room (although advertised on their webpage and on booking.com)2. Although there was a regular cleaning service towels were never changed (I had to request it from the owner on the third day of my stay) and garbage bags were not removed.3 The toilet flush was not working and the quantity of water was not enough 4. Furniture, equipment and rooms need severe renovation 5 The fridge was extremely noisy and was impossible to sleep during the night 6, Three dogs were circulating freely inside the premises - once they became aggressive towards me when opened the door of my room 7. Very far from the city - mini market far away from the hotel 8. The swimming pool was not the cleanest one9. Lack of soundproofing in the rooms

The location of the Borgo Marino is exceptional, secluded yet a stone throw away from Syracuse and the beach. An experience that is pure bliss. The staff were ever so helpful and courteous. The property is kept clean and the pool area so spacious.
