Hotel Henry's House

The hotel is very charming, full of antique furniture and paintings. It is located in the heart of Ortigia and offers very nice sea views. The staff is extremely nice and helpful.

We would have expected a slightly more luxurious bathroom. We had a bathroom with a small plastic shower cabin with a single shower head that took a long time to give hot water.

it was incredible stay - stuff made our day, so cheerful, helpful, they treated us with a free drink on the sunset, showed best places to eat, and overall made our weekend so full of warmth

nothing actually. you just need to understand that you are travelling to an old historic building, and its charm is amazing

The property is stunning — from its beautiful location to its charming character and thoughtful details, everything was perfect. I was truly taken by the hotel’s unique charm and atmosphere. The service was impeccable, and every staff member was so genuinely warm and welcoming.A special mention to Cristina, who greeted us upon arrival with such kindness — she really became the face of Syracuse for us. Breakfast was fantastic, and every moment spent here felt special.I would love to come back someday. Highly recommend!

The room is not clean.

Our balcony was amazing!!! We had family time out there and we were with family so it was wonderful!

The bad was older and my back screamed atMe every morning and you are good to go! The best restaurants we found are within a few blocks.

The staff was wonderful and did whatever they could to try and make our stay comfortable and memorable. The location of the hotel is great and the communal outdoor spaces were perfect for our group. Basically everything outside of the rooms was great.

The hotel is in desperate need of updating. The ground floor rooms were incredibly moldy (which they tried to say was “old furniture” but the smell was unbearable). The shower fixtures are old/rusty and don’t function properly. Two rooms in our group didn’t have hot water and one had a dis functional shower head. The price doesn’t not match the quality and there are several places nearby that are far superior for less.

We had not hot water to sower for three days because they could not resolve our plumbing problem. The infrastructure of plumbing is old and needs a major overall. Staff apologized each day but the plumber could not find the problem.

The staff at Henry’s was absolutely amazing! From our quick check-in when Francesco gave us great recommendations and a review of the local map, to great breakfasts and amazing sunsets from the patio!

The most friendly and helpful staff! The location was top. The property is stunning and really charming every nook of the hotel is cool. The breakfast was beyond and included.

We loved absolutely everything but thought the overnight parking charge of €30 was high.

Lovely hotel, made us love Ortigia even more. The staff is and kind all the time. We did not have a seaview room, but it was still very nice and good value. Delicious breakfast, on a beautiful terrace facing the sea. The whole building just has a great design, i totally recommend!

A beautiful boutique hotel with every space individually crafted. Very cosy. Outdoor lower terrace provides a wonderful space with grape vine shade for breakfasting and evening drinks from the bar. Lounge/bar inside lovely too. Staff so very friendly and attentive with check-in including a guide to Ortigia sights, restaurants, beaches, etc. A welcome drink always helps too! Staff organized all of our taxis from train station, Catania airport, Siracusa archeological site, etc. Making logistics easier.

The staff were second to none. Extremely welcoming and lovely. The terrace area was a divine area to sit for the most amazing breakfast and an afternoon spritz.

The bathroom was small.

Absolutely everything. The friendly and helpful staff, beautiful room and location, the delicious breakfast, I can go on and on. I have food allergies and they went out of their way to have the local bakery prepare stuff that was both dairy and soy free for my breakfast. This was the first and only place where I was able to indulge in a Sicilian treat.

Breakfast was great.The location was in the heart of the Island, with very easy access to the shoreline.The view from the room was spectacular.

One of the most special hotels I've ever stayed in - not just the beautiful historical house and art, but the service! The two Francescas at the front desk are really like family, going extra miles to make you feel at home. This was our second time staying at Henry's and it was just as excellent as the first time. Hope to come back.

The staff was exceptional and the food was amazing. They went out of their way to accommodate my gluten free needs. Bed was really comfortable and the view from the terrace where you eat breakfast was gorgeous.

Everything was perfect. The breakfast buffet is superb. The location and view can’t be better. The staff goes out their way to help and make suggestions for you. I didn’t want to leave. It made my Syracuse visit extra special.
