Wellness Spa Hotel Principe Fitalia

We arrived at Principe di Fitalia after a terrible experience at an Airbnb-equivalent apartment in Taormina, feeling jaded and disappointed. Santino, Mary, Maurizio, Michele, Roberta, Rosa, Vincenzo, and the entire team completely turned things around. Their genuine smiles, attentive service, and constant warmth transformed what started as a “lemon” of a trip into pure Limoncello.Syracuse itself is a wonderful destination — full of history, culture, and charm. It’s a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of Taormina, offering a chance to truly experience Sicilian life, people, and love. Amazing staff, amazing hospitality — they made our stay unforgettable.

We loved everything about this place — not a single complaint or negative word to offer.

The staff was wonderful, it was amazing for my husband to receive a cake for his birthday at breakfast. The breakfast offer was very rich and diverse, the swimming pool was large and clean, the hot tub in our room was also great.

The only thing we didn't like were the pillows, we would prefer if they would be softer. Otherwise the room was great, including the bathroom.

It's appreciated that they upgraded our room, which was spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast is truly excellent, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, as well as freshly made vegetable and fruit juices. They also offer a shuttle bus to the city center, though I didn’t have a chance to use it. A highly enjoyable stay!

It’s only convenient for travelers arriving by car.

Truly an amazing place to stay. 15 mins from Syracuse by car. Super organized hotel, amazing staff. We will definitely go back for longer

Location is fairly remote, so getting around on foot is pretty difficult

Even though the location is a distance from Ortigia and beach the Spa provides a free shuttle to both places. The spa itself is impressive As we arrived outside the season we have got a free upgrade Good breakfasts, when asked for a soft boiled egg (outside regular menu) there has been no problem whatsoever and the egg has been served quickly in excellent “soft condition”

There is nothing in the walking distance. You have to drive to Syracuse or a beach.

Food was not a good standard. We had one lunch and one dinner both were below average for a hotel of this quality. Although the Breakfast quality was good.

I wish I could give the hotel a higher score than 10! Everything was exceptional and we had a wonderful stay. The photos do not do justice to how great the location, pool and rooms are.Staff were friendly and attentive, making you feel very much at home.We had a suite with jacuzzi which was a lovely addition.Breakfast had so much choice and everything was fresh and looked wonderful.We left feeling happy and relaxed.

We had a good room but my elderly mum was with me and she found the bathroom a bit uncomfortable for her since it was a bath with a shower head. Other than that, everything was perfect

Fantastic large pool, spacious and modern. The suite was fantastic for a family of four, with small private patio and easy access to pool. The spa was beautiful - particularly the indoor pool for the hottest party of the day. Brilliant to have the option of a minibus to Ortygia as there's limited parking - and it's a lovely old city which is fabulous for dinner. Friendly helpful staff gave us excellent recommendations - La Putia for dinner was exceptional. Comforts - bedding, towels etc - all highest quality

The only thing I'd change was the music choice around the pool - given the spa ambience it would be nice to have more relaxed, quieter music

The hotel is very nice especially the food, pool and the rooms. It was always clean. The staff was always friendly. The breakfast was always good with fresh items while the dinner was always different. The area is very quiet. A relaxing holiday indeed. We will come again for sure.

There were plenty of ants..Maybe the hotel can do some lights near the playing field and if possible to be always clean since they are not well kept.

Beautiful property, wonderful breakfast. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

We were there end of may which was just before the busy season. The hotel was very quiet, and it was hard to get service by the pool (the bar was only open on one day of our 4 day stay). Also, the kid pool with waterslide was closed, and my kids were very bummed out as we had been showing them photos before arrival and that is what they were most excited for. Definitely need a car, as it is a little remote, but easy enough to get to some of the surrounding towns.

Location is little bit uncomfortable, you have to drive a car if you want to go somewhere.

Ample parking area, the rooms are well kept and larger than usual, with the jacuzzi and the free space around.The spa is amazing too and ROSA made sure I have a good massage. will be back and recommend for sure.

The staff and facilities and the location

Staff were really nice and helpful and really catered for vegans. The minibus to Ortiga was very useful and timely.Hotel was very clean and comfortable.

More times for Ortiga transfer would have been amazing.Breakfast was good, but would have enjoyed more fresh juice.

Everything was perfect. We were given an upgrade on arrival and stayed in a luxurious suite.Five star treatment beginning with a great breakfast buffet that contains everything you wish for. The staff is very welcoming, always helpful and everyone has a genuine friendliness. Indoor pool very large (20 m) and spotless as well as the fitness centre. Great stay. Mille Grazie ?

My son and I had a wonderful time at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. We loved the complementary massage - my son ADORED his chocolate massage! A big thank you to the reception team, spa staff, and room service for making our stay so enjoyable. The hotel's location amidst lemon and orange fields was beautiful, and we enjoyed easy access to Syracuse while still feeling like we were at a resort. We can't wait to come back and enjoy the outdoor pool later in the season
