Fantastic location and great staff

Location , some of the front desk stuff very helpful.

First of all, wrong room description, describe 231 sq feet double room, we got room on last floor, for sure it is not 231 sq feet, stay there for 3 days, inside the room smell like public toilets, bring this matter to management, no reaction, in check out when I mentioned again, manager , like she said, gave me 230 euro credit, for room that they are charge me 600 euro per night, and basically my wife didn’t sleep all nights because of the smell. Seco nd breakfast. For 5 star hotel poor selection, stuff not trained good enough to serve international travelers.

The location of this hotel is outstanding. It has a fabulous view of the harbor, and is very close to several outstanding restaurants. It is close walking distance to most of the important sights on Ortigia. Our room was very comfortable. The view from the rooftop terrace/var is world class. But the best part of the hotel is the excellent staff. They are most helpful, and make guests feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again, happily.

There could be a better choice of bed pillows.

Great location on the water. Beautiful building. Staff was helpful with booking activities and transfers. Pool was small but nice. Room was very nice.

The hotel is beautiful and historic. Everything is unbelievably clean and every little detail has been thought about. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, especially when we needed to get medical care. Staff helped us find where to go at 10pm on a Saturday. Breakfast was fantastic too with lots of choices. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The pool is also relaxing and beautiful with amazing views.

Location. Bed and linens.

Very noisy at night. Hot water didn’t work. Bad turn down service and poor housekeeping: did not replenish the toiletries. Breakfast was mediocre with few options and food was not good quality. Phone next to the bed didn’t work. Very expensive parking. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Noise in poorly insulated rooms (avoid 4th floor below restaurant). Staff very helpfully moved us after our issues.

A superb hotel, in excellent condition and beautifully appointed. The location was perfect, the staff very friendly and helpful, particularly Eva during breakfast. Would most certainly return.

Rooms could perhaps be a little larger, but this is a relatively minor point.

The location is just perfect, right on the seafront and also in walking distance to the main square and all attractions. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was immaculate throughout. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

The temperature of the outside pool was far too cold. There was no clear explanation as to exactly where the breakfast room was.

The rooms, the decorations, the staff, the little beach near the hotel. We had the most perfect stay in this 5 star hotel. Thank you for everything and we are so looking forward to come back.

I had a bad experience during my check out as I was charged twice for an additional night I had reserved directly with the hotel. They asked my credit card upon checkin but I did not know I was already charged for the additional night and at check out, the presented the bill with the charge for one more night but without discounting the amount already paid, which I was not aware. It was really annoying, and I’m now waiting for the correction and refund to my credit card that as I was told can take few days. Let’s see how it goes. Also, I waited for more than 1 hour for my car, when I was in rush to head to the airport. The car was in the valet service (also expensive considering 50 euros/ day - in Taormina I paid 25/day at a very luxury hotel) when it was supposed to take 30/40 minutes.

The location was perfect just so long as you arrive by taxi - dont even think about taking a car. You can walk everywhere in the town and getting onto the Syracuse side is fairly easy by public transport. The breakfast was OK, but could have been better if the selections on offer had been regularly replenished. The roof top restaurant and bar area was a great place to unwind.

The value for money equation never quite works out with this sort of establishment. Our room was very nicely done, but it was fortunate we did not bring a cat with us, as we would not have been able to swing it in the space afforded by our room.

Gorgeous room with a view. Amazing breakfast. Superb service, from front desk, Flavia and Chiara were fantastic! Flavia came in the car with us when we went wrong in Ortigia, and guided us in! Thk you! Great location and easy access everywhere. Quiet and very comfortable room. We used the gym which was quite enough for our short break! Pool area quiet and pretty. Enjoyed a drink on the roof to see a glorious sunset. Hope to return

On Friday nights into weekends street musicians play outside the hotel (on the foreshore) until 2am - impossible to sleep!

It’s a very nice hotel located in the heart of Ortigia island close to most of the sightseeings.Cleanliness was very good and the roof top bar offered a nice panoramic view of the city!The staff were helpful specially Davide from the reception.

No negative points! We arrived a bit early and we hoped the we can get the room about one hour earlier, however we didn’t get it until 3:00pm. It’s of course according to hotel schedule but in such cases the hotel might be able to speed up the check in time to accommodate the guests and make it more convenient for them.
