Life Hotels Kalaonda Resort

The hotel is very well located although you need a car to move around, everything is accessible within 3-5 min. Breakfast is great and staff is very nice and friendly.

The hotel rooms are very outdated and the overall cleanliness is questionable. The closet doors didn’t match, the curtains had paint stains and the room smelled old and stuffy. When we checked in, the room had an overwhelming chemical odor (likely bug spray) that was so strong it gave me a migraine the ent day after.Fresh air is hard to enjoy in the evenings since opening the windows is not possible and opening the door means sacrificing privacy or dealing with swarms of mosquitoes. The air conditioning barely worked and the shower drain was clogged.This property does not reflect the quality of a 4 star hotel and feels significantly overpriced for what it offers.

It was in a nice and quiet location. Breakfast was okay.

The air conditioning was terrible. It is climate controlled and there was absolutely no air and nothing that can be done about it. Beds were not comfortable and low to the ground.

Room and breakfast were fine and staff was friendly.

We decided to leave earlier than we planned. The pool was closed and the resort left an ‘off-season’ impression. This was unlike other accodomations that we have visited in Sicily.

Our stay at Kalaonda Resort was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making us feel very welcome. The rooms were charming, with comfortable beds and everything spotlessly clean. The resort itself is beautiful, with plenty of space and a great playground where the kids could run around and have fun. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We took a takeway breakfast which was very good - sandwitches, cake, juice, devered to the room a night before.Staff was very kind and smiling - thank you very much! Staff organized hot water so we could heat the food for our baby.Beds were comfy, there was a fridge in the room. Room was spaceious.Car could be parked just few meters from the room.Hotel is easy to find.Just 15 minutes drive from Siracuse.5 minutes drive from nice Pizza/Bakery spot.

Aircon was not working, but staff organized a portable heater which was brought to the room, staff also did eveyrthing to help us.Water from shower was flooding all bathroom.Not everything was ready as hotel was still obviously preparing for the season - not a big problem for us.

Hot water was unreliable. It took forever in the morning to get warm, never hot. Front desk said it was fine. Pool was closed.

Relaxing, friendly helpful staff

The free breakfast was good. Dinner was quite late, 8pm, for Americans and the quality vs price was not good. There were no small snacks available either,

The whole experience was good overall. Staff nice. Nice pool.

Middle of nowhere, need a car. No restaurant. Bar open for lunch not evenings. Very noisy party in field next door.

It is in a beautiful spot, gardens and pool were beautiful. The staff super friendly and helpful.

Location was great, clean, accessible for wheelchair, breakfast was good, pool very nice... Bed's were good. Staff were Great and helpful ❤️ parking was comfortable too.

AC was a bit slow to meet up with our Room but they also bring us a fan. Fridge is a bit small for a family but we managed.

A big big minus that unfortunately ruined all my experience was an event that was happening next door..it was so so loud in the room, I couldn’t fell asleep :(

Size of the room. Air conditioning in room was keeping very good temperature and worked well. Size of the swimming pool and look of the palm trees.

When we arrived at 3pm our room was not ready for another 1.5hours. Very disappointing as we were tired from our journey and had to stay in heat with our bags around the pool. They also told us we need to be out of pool by 6pm because they had booked private event. I think they should have notified us before booking as we would consider another hotel. The reason of first night for us was to chill around the pool and relax. We’ve requested bedroom with 3 beds and got sofa bed which had massive dents and was uncomfortable. Swimming pool water was milky colour which needed some chemicals to clean it. Also my child was diving found chlorine tabled at the bottom of the pool which should be placed in floating device and not for kids to touch. Dangerous. Bottom of the pool was bit scratchy from water scale for our feet. Also I did cut my foot at the pool area because the wood around the swimming pool was outdated and the colour was coming off with wood chips. Location far from everything. I would appreciate door sign DO NOT Disturb as the cleaner ladies just walked in even tho we told the reception we won’t need our rooms to be cleaned after first night.

The hotel is a disaster

Not clean in the rooms, the restaurant, the toilet, the building in general.Very limited untasty breakfast. The cutlery dirty.Every night there was loud music in our bedro from the party location next doors, eventhough the receptionest told us it was a one time happening, it happened the others 2 nights as well.Old room where the sinks in the bathroom didn’t work properly.Only 1 general toilet in the entire hotel.The massage service was not welcoming with no flexibility in timings

Calm place with a beatiful pool. It really is beauiful there and about 5min from the beaches away and 15min from Syracus. Big and very good breakfast.

They hosted a wedding next door which was very loud till early in the morning which was ennoying. Staff could have warned us in my eyes.

Very nice place, the personnel is lovely, the pool was very nice to enjoy with this hot weather. I recommend.

The room is a little old but still clean. The breakfast is nice but very sweet. Still everything was okay.

Nice peaceful location near Siracusa , good road . Very nice and helpful staff at reception , recommended is a few good restaurants nearby with a good view of Ortigia.

The property was just amazing thank you to Layla and Anna for making us feel so welcome. The rooms were all beautiful. Don’t hesitate to come here you will love it just like we did.
