Clean vintage property right on waters edge. Short walk to city center. Awesome breakfast buffet and rooftop patio.

Restaurant food was outstanding and our waiter, for both breakfast & dinner treated us like family. He went way beyond his water duties and was a person advisor for the area. Location on the water is beautiful.

Location is spectacular. Right on the ocean. Loved sleeping to the sound of the sea. Away from tourist bustle but easy walking distance. Giuseppe and Maria made us feel like family.

Our room was very tiny- no room for suitcases

The breakfast was always fresh and had a lot of choices. The people at the desk were so friendly and always ready to help.

Too bad the rooftop deck door was broken.

While we payed for an upgraded room for 30 euros a day, the room was very nice! The best part of the room was the dual french door that open to a large balcony that over look the water!

Great location overlooking the water, close to good restaurants. Promenade along coast. One of the best beach areas with a platform that many locals use also. Staff was very gracious. Really good breakfast , great selections. Cappuccino, fresh squeezed orangee juice. Happy hour and Maria at the bar was very friendly. Daniele and the other front desk staff helped us get taxis and restaurant selections. Ortigia is gem of a city and the hotel was wonderful too. Air conditioned rooms, spacious bathroom, good Wi-Fi ,elevators all important elements that contributed to low hassle stay!

Updated older building done beautifully and all modern amenities. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast “out of this world” great! Fantastic location and we can’t speak high enough about the quality of the staff. ALL 10’s!!

Good location, comfortable, helpful staff, good breakfast

The staff were great. It would be hard to do better in being helpful, respectful and accommodating. They were the hotel's best feature. Breakfast was excellent and again, the staff were very considerate. There is an ocean view at breakfast and the room has no aircon but it has a cooling system that made it relatively comfortable. The hotel was of good quality, though very dated.

The room was not cleaned the first day and it is also very small with little room on either side of the bed, two singles pushed together. As the hotel is dated, there were only three electric plugs, one of which hung out of the wall so was unsafe to use. The photo on booking appeared that the hotel was on the water when actually the entrance is on a different street and one can see the water from rooftop. The bar on the roof is closed so if you plan to go up and enjoy the evening breeze, purchase food someplace and bring it up.

Attractive, clean, fantastic location, helpful staff

When I tried to get a glass of wine in the afternoon, I was told the bar was closed till 5:00 When I asked for a sun umbrella for the EXTREMELY HOT roof garden, I was told there was none. When we took showers, the water didn’t drain at all. Why have a bar, umbrella holders or drains if one can’t use them?

Breakfast was excellent with large choice of offerings The front desk staff was amazing, giving directions, restaurant suggestions andjust nice!!

Can’t think of a single thing we didn’t like. The view from our room was breathtaking. I could see the sea from the bed!!

This hotel was amazing. Easy to get where we we wanted to go. Staff was excellent! Breakfast was great. We liked staying on the island part of Siracusa rather than in the city.

Loved it all

The location is good, but then in Ortigia everything is nearby. The bathroom was large and nice, with a double sink. There was a nice bathtub/shower combination with plenty of hot water and shampoos.

When we arrived the two young men at the Reception desk did not get up to help us drag our luggage up the flight of stairs from street level. We are senior citizens and I needed help. Our room was not ready so we left our luggage and went out to lunch. Upon returning, our room was ready but the same two young men had not had the courtesy of placing our luggage in our room. The older man at the desk the next morning apologized profusely when I told him about it.

Location was greatRooms are small but enough. Get a balcony room.Breakfast room was lovely. Breakfast is great.Staff was very helpful! Getting taxi to Catania and helping communicate with next hotel.

Room smelled moldy

Outstanding location and view, extremely friendly and helpful staff, wonderful breakfast selection.

Room was surprisingly small and dark, felt very cramped. No shelves, no open spaces to set things on. Decor from decades ago. Not uncomfortable, but not very pleasant either.

The location is excellent. The hotel is in the center of the ortigia right by the sea with spectacular views from the roof. But at the same time it is very quiet there.

I wish the breakfast was better. There was a vast selection and even a fresh squeezed orange juice. But somehow prepared food was not very tasty.

The hotel is located in a great place with good views of the sea (if your have a sea facing room). The staff is very helpful and are trying to attend to your requests as bets as possible.

The hotel is dated and the rooms are not in the best maintenance condition. Our room had a TV not working and the shower was leaking on the bathroom floor. One of the biggest let down was the fact that the rooms are not well insulated from noise from other rooms.
