- room was full of humidty and there was even a humidefier in the room , couldnt sleep at night because of the bad humidity smell , had ants on the sheet , we choose the room on the new section upon booking but where give at the old part considering that we paid over 400€ for 2 nights , we had to leave the hotel after 1 night cause could even resist the smell
- We came here for our honeymoon and once we pulled up and saw it was not like the photos we left. They wouldn’t waive the cancellation fee.

Great breakfast. Beautiful location. Helpful staff
Everything was good, nice bed, nice room, nice breakfast, it was all really really good
Staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Henry! Great pool, pleasant views, nice breakfast. Showers were great
Minor issues, floors need some minor repairs, just a bit of cosmetic touch ups here and there, but really a beautiful property. Would definitely come again.
Nice place and convincente location
Not well maintained, WiFi not working for several days.
swimming pool, decor and very good breakfast
bathroom amnesties and maid services cleaning the room. the drain of our shower was clogged and the shower had very little water.
Spa, pool
Lots of flies and mosquitos. Not enough staff for breakfast
Location and facilities were excellentBreakfast was excellent
Restaurant dinner was okay without being special. lunch menu poolside, tuna sandwich and some salads, very ordinaryIt was very hot in the room even after requested the reception to turn temperature down. Had to sleep with patio door open
The property was affordable. Rooms modern and clean.
The property was rundown. We had chosen the resort due to the golf course however the greens were poorly kept. The gardens surrounding property also poorly kept.
Absolutely terrible. We arrived here after having driven for almost 2 hours. Staff did not even escort us to the room upon arrival (little things that go a long way when you are paying money to stay somewhere - hospitality zero). But that wasn't even the worst of it. Our room looked NOTHING like the photos of the room we booked! We upgraded to a delux room to celebrate our anniversary, only to find a room that was dark (one tiny window - when the photos showed amazing natural lighting), the size of the room was much smaller than the photos, the furniture needs an upgrade too. The place is run down and the staff were not helpful at all. We ended up having to leave to find another place to stay because the refused to give us another room and are also refusing to give us a refund when they totally messed up! Really not pleased and will definitely not be recommending this place to anyone and I highly recommend that you think twice too!
EVERYTHING - READ ABOVE.
The breakfast was typical of Italy.... very good. The room size and bathroom were large and clean. The esthetics of the place were very nice. The building was well maintained and pretty. The grounds surrounding the building were well kept. The one night that we ate dinner there... the food was great. We went to Floridia, the next town. It was a 10 min. drive. This was a very nice small town with a nice restaurant, piazza and gelato. We ate at Momento 7. The food was amazing. Ask for Josepina (Josephine)she was very helpful and spoke English.
It is called "Golf resort". However, my friends and I played one round of golf and found the course was not well maintained. It was covered in weeds and the greens were not smooth.... full of bumps. I would say that the course was worse than any public course I've played in NJ. I understand that there was a drought, but the weeds could have been removed to make the playing better. While we were there, they were having problems with the air conditioning. They could have used some lessons in customer service by offering us something to make up for the uncomfortable room temperature during our stay. The outside temperature was 95 degrees. Also, we had five rooms and 2 of the five had ants. All they did was give us a can of bug spray. At check-in, they gave us a voucher for one free cocktail perpson. However, when we went to cash in the voucher it was really for non-alcoholic juice. Here is an example of customer service lesson....You must have a car to get around.
Rooms are nice and breakfast is good
The property for a lack of words is gimicky. It's advertised as spa and golf resort. Throughout an entire stay you only get 1hr entry to the spa. When asking about golf, staff say that's in another complex not there. Throughout your stay you will find that everything comes at an extra charge, example asking for a fried egg at breakfast. Also, drinks at the bar are put on the rooms rather than paying upfront and it is easy for someone to put a drink on your room , so be careful before paying your bill at check out as we were charged extra. The restaurant (not referring to bfast) on premises is also very bad. Avoid it. For bfast, make sure you are there earlier as staff start cleaning up 15mins to closing. Also, we visited in August. Although we were warned at check in, the rooms AC was not working. All of the above is definitely not expected for the price you pay.
Dinner was nice.
Air con most of the time not working going to reception to make it more cooler.
Breakfast was lovely and had some good options. Pool area was beautiful and the gardens.
Unfortunately, overall this hotel was very disappointing and I would say nowhere near 5 star standards. We arrived earlier than the check in time and we were told we need to wait to 4pm. Of course we understood and had a drink at the bar. However, in the meantime I noticed the staff checked in two families early. We let it slide and gave the benefit of the doubt that there was no preferential treatment. We checked in and found the floor filthy and a hair in the shower. Also, the air-conditioning did not work and there was a constant buzzing noise. However, we called reception and although there was no apology, they immediately sent housekeeping and maintenance who fixed the problem. We later showered and the shower did not drain well, flooding the bathroom floor. We had to use one bath towel to absorb the water. Given that they have a good eco policy of one towel during the stay, I went to reception and explained the issue and requested a new towel. Again, no apology whatsoever. We left for the evening and when we returned they had cleaned the water but left no additional clean towel. The next morning, it flooded again and had not been fixed. Overall the room was nicely decorated and spacious but there were too many faults. Also, the air-conditioning is controlled through reception. To set the temperature etc. you need to call. It is advertised as a spa hotel, however the spa (hot tub, steam room, indoor pool) is completely shut down when a guest is having treatment which we found strange. The receptionist of the hotel told us, you just have to go and check if you can go in. On our second try, we found it open but upon entering were informed we needed to make an appointment to use the facilities which we were not informed upon check in. Surprised and disappointed we left so I am not sure how the standard is. However, having stayed in several spa hotels we have never experienced such procedures.
The only think I liked about this hotel was the grounds, pool and size of the rooms
The list is endless:The overall service was absolutely terrible:- No info at arrival on reception whatsoever (re breakfast times, any facilities, policies etc, towel and laundry change etc)- Wrong basic information given such as contact for reception- No AC for a full 24 hours in the middle of August- we had to get ready for a party and blow dry our hair while sweating in the heat- Not enough replacement plastic fans costing 50 euros- The worst coffee ever tasted in my life at Breakfast (even though we were in Italy)- Our bathroom door was broken ( wouldn't close)- No iron and ironing board apparently due to German regulations- ridiculous in this day and age and if that is the policy then you should at least inform guests upon arrival re any laundry services.- Ice machine by the pool was also broken, the electricity also went out at one point- No one to bring the luggage to the rooms on arrival, not even a store rom available to leave luggage's in a safe place, We had to leave them under a piece of furniture in the room next to the reception- My brother had to ask several times to provide a cot for his baby even though he had already put that requirement through upon booking.- Upon check out we were unable to order anything by the pool unless going to reception first to prepay ( a super inconvenient 5 min walk when wet from the pool)- Not very helpful staff who gave contradictory information to the management
The hotel is located in a rural area of Syracuse, which, while distant from lively spots, is perfect for a family stay. Although it may be considered more of a top-ranked 4-star hotel rather than a 5-star, it is clearly worth the cost. The room was spacious, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the surrounding areas are ideal for relaxation. The building itself is quite amazing and charming, as it is an old monastery.
The breakfast area is quite small, often crowded, and it was common to wait for clean dishes or cups. The main downside was the restaurant, which, despite having a sufficiently diverse menu, was quite disappointing in terms of food quality.
Its beautiful property in a beautiful location. Rooms very spacious, modern and nice. Pool area beautiful and property itself is charming and gorgeous
You are paying star prices for less than 1 star service. Terrible service, receptionists dont know what they are doing… No possibility of having lunch apart from toast or salads from the pool bar which we had to try as there is no other choice and hotel is very far off from any civilization. All food was inedible!!!! Disgusting. We had a couple if vegetarians with us who couldnt eat as they refused to make toast with only cheese as the sandwiches were prepared before.. only a choice of 3 cocktails… i could go on and on… NEVER GO THERE AGAIN, AND DO NOT RECOMMEND
Pool area was very relaxing, well maintained and clean. Room modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.
Towel policy. Limited beer options at bars.
