    Pros +

    • Great friendly staff, super location to easily walk into Ortigia & Great restaurants near by! Easy free parking close to the hotel.
    • Comfortable room, good breakfast included.
    • Location, staff was excellent! (except for manager who could not be bothered to talk to us)

    Cons -

    • Room was musty, but was okay with the installed fan turned on.
    • Pillows were badly soiled, curtain falling off window, price of room not reflect the poor condition, paid over 1,000 Can $ for 4 nights, breakfast could have fresher products, shower plugged up, manager would not come to meet me to discuss but his reply to my review was very defensive and agressive insulting me and telling me to stay home, instead of using my comments as a way to improve things.
    • Breakfast does it job but could be improved.

We had excelent accomodation for value offered. Breakfast is fine to start your journey to Ortiga.Spotless accomodation, kudos to all the stuff.

I feel fortunate to have chosen this hotel. The location, cleanliness, staff, and most importantly, the safety were all exceptional. I have no regrets at all — the price I paid was also very reasonable. I'm completely satisfied with my stay, and I sincerely thank the hotel’s friendly and welcoming staff.

Breakfast does it job but could be improved.

This place was perfect for the value. The room was modest and a bit old-fashioned, but everything was comfortable. The friendly family running it made us feel very welcome. It was simple and economical—and ended up being our kids’ favorite stay of the trip!

Clean room, breakfast was good, 10 minutes walk to the Ortigia.

Close to Siracuse historic centre - Ortigia, free parking around property.Breakfast was very good!

Lack of balcony, altough advertised, surroundings, noise from outside and from the bathroom.Double check beds in quardaple room! We reserved a room with 4 beds and one of the beds was UNUSABLE (mattress was in 3 parts, had stains and was extremely uncomfortable). It took us 30 minutes of convincing the receptionist to resolve the issue with an argument. Even though they replaced the bed, the overall experience was unpleasant.

The location of the hotel is at a very good place, and motorcycles are safe outside (you can park between cars) . It's very clean inside and the breakfast is ok. I would come back here again.

The beds are noisy. In the morning, you can hear other guests outside talking and walking.

Good location, great staff, uncomfortable bed (double is actually 2 simple beds…didn’t slept right for 2 nights !!), first day I hadn’t water for shower - resolve immediately, 2nd day when I took a shower the water stop working twice and swing from hot to cold few time for now reasons. It is much more a 2 stars than a 3 stars. Breakfast was mediocre….a shame for Italian food. Too expensive for this place. I don’t recommend it.

    6YinleePosted on: 4-7-2025

The stairs are very steep and as we have to check out at 8:30am, there is no staff available to help us with the luggage. The water supply was not working properly and even stop entirely

A small hotel in a good location, within walking distance of most of the places worth visiting in Siracusa. The room was 20+ sq m, furnished in the 1980s, everything functional. Very friendly and helpful staff, who gave good recommendations for restaurants and tourist services. The breakfast was not abundant, but good. An excellent price-quality ratio.

    Nothing unpleasant.

    Location, cleanliness

Poor breakfast, bad service in the dining room

Good location, place was very clean. Bed were comfortable as for this place. Hotel has its vibe.

    9LeszekPosted on: 3-8-2025

Staying at this hotel was a real pleasure, especially because of the amazing breakfast with a great selection of fresh and tasty products. The coffee was rich and high-quality, which is rare to find. Additionally, the friendly and helpful staff made us feel truly welcome!

The weather was so unpredictable that I started to suspect March was having an identity crisis and thought it was November. If clouds and rain were tourist attractions, this would have been the most intense trip of the season!

Old school hotel. Lots of character. Great location within walking distance of the train station and major sites.

Some folks that have stayed in modern hotels might be turned off by the age of the hotel, but I thought it was great.

    7JunPosted on: 2-27-2025

The location was good. There were many good restaurants and cafes around the area. My son loved the pizzeria opposite side of the hotel. Breakfast was great since we did not expect much. There were everything we needed, breads, yoghurt, coffee, cheese, ham, egg, fruits etc.

The room had a very strong smell of washing detergent!! It gave me & my son a headache even though we opened the window. (It was February and cold!! ) So I went to the reception and complained about it. The receptionist guy said it must be from spray for the building, but all the linen & towels smelled the same, so it must be the washing detergent smell. If I knew it, I would have chosen somewhere else.

Quiet and classical small hotel, with great location very close to the historical center. Room was very clean and comfortably warm (since it was winter when we visited). Breakfast had a nice selection and the staff was very friendly. Parking is easy in the low season, nearby on the street and free.

    8FrancescoPosted on: 2-21-2025

Location, cleanliness, seaview, breakfast, staff, elegant atmosphere.

Just two small details. A bit noisy from the inside because the rooms are concentrated in a very small space. The king-size bed was in reality made from two single beds which wasn't the best of comfort.
