Location is very good. Room has the right size, bathroom could be larger. Sound protection of the room is insufficient. Breakfast was as expected.

Apart from the noise the first night (see comment below) the room was great and the buffet breakfast was decent. The staff were very helpful and took care of any requests. We drove from Catania and there was parking a few blocks away in a public lot which was very much appreciated. The parking ticket system was crap and only one machine worked out of 5 or 6 machines, but I can't blame the hotel for that :-)

The first night there was very loud and prolonged noise from street cleaning right outside our window. We asked to be relocated to a quieter room which they did with no fuss - according to one of the receptionists this happens every night, but someone else said it was once a week. The new room looked onto a central courtyard and was exceptionally quiet.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It was the nicest of the hotels we stayed at in Sicily - but not the most expensive. the staff were wonderful. The location is great - convenient to the train station, the island of Ortigia, and the archeological park. Great value.

Staff was great. Rooms very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Beautiful welcoming lobby. Location couldn’t be better. Breakfast had every food you could imagine you would want. Additional public room next to reception to relax like your own living room. Great place to stay.

We left our iPad behind and Maurizio from the front desk personally got in touch and promised for it to be couriered to our next hotel. What an asset to the hotel

The location was terrific, midway between Ortigia and the train station. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. We enjoyed the opportunity to indulge in a spa bath.

There were three of us, one couple (same names) and a single, the receptionist asked who was in the double and we assumed that was the couples room. Later we realized our single friends room was twice the size of ours - why ask? Also, the first keys he gave us were to the wrong room, it was clearly occupied when we opened the door - thankfully nobody was in there (and for them that we are honest people). He did recommend a restaurant that was fabulous though, for which we are grateful (Bazan).

Some difficulties in arranging our transport locally, but that might be beyond their powers.

Lovely large room, friendly helpful staff, beautiful hotel building. Bedroom and bathroom were both large and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, laid out in an elegant room with tables in small alcoves and professional staff on hand to assist. Great location and very quiet.

A bit more storage for clothes would have been useful - only four hangers and two drawers.

Great hotel only a few minutes walk from the main sites in Ortigia. 11 min walk from train station. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was amazing.

The breakfast was nice. Overall good experience besides the receptionist asking to pay city tax which was already paid for… probably a tip for him or pizzo who knows :) therefore 6/10
