The staff where really friendly and very helpful. Price per room was very affordable. Room decent size and air-con worked well. Free parking in nearby streets and a shortish 20 minute walk to Ortigia Island. Breakfast also good.

Wonderful Stay at Hotel TeocritoI had an incredibly pleasant stay and would happily return. The staff were welcoming from the moment I arrived. The location is good—just a short walk to the Archaeologic Park. Finding the property and getting inside was a little tricky at first. Once inside, everything was smooth. My room was large, and comfortable, with a small balcony. They had originally told me there wouldn’t be breakfast, but to my surprise they provided a generous breakfast.

In the reception Lucia was very nice and knowledgeable. Everything clean, good breakfast. Right besides the church of Santa Maria of tears. And I loved Ortigia!

No food store close by. It was november and many businesses were closed. A little complicated to get in. They should provide instructions. There are a few other hotels in the building. I think there was a red bus local bus that went into Ortigia but I wasnt told about. So I had to take a taxi to get to the bus station, etc.

Close to the archaeological sites. Lovely lady at reception who allowed us to check in early as our room was ready. Good breakfast!

The deceiving entrance doesn't lend a peek into what this charming hotel offers it's guests. The cordial greeting (staff was a strong heart to this hotel), assistance in securing good parking, comfortable moderately sized room, quiet location all set the stage for a memorable stay. Old world civility exudes. From the balcony in our room we could see the evening lights bathe the Cathedral across the street in soft colors. Easy enough walk down a main street to visit Ortiga. Morning breakfast was well prepared and filling. Don't let the unimposing entrance keep you from enjoying this bargain stay, it will surprise you. Daniel and Linda

The owners, Laura and Laura were so kind and personabke! We loved visting with them and Joeys mother and also with Mateo. They all made sure that we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had. They had a great breakfast with meat,eggs, cheeses, and fruit. The room and the bed were especially comfortable and the room was large with plenty of space for all our stuff and suitcases. They had a bullentin board in the common area with all kinds of information. Thank goodness they had an elevator. They also had a bar with liquor which was nice and reasonably priced! The location was great! We would highly recommend and would stay again!

Convenient location for free on-street parking and opposite the modernist cathedral. Walking distance to Ortigia, if you don’t mind a 20-25 minute walk. Generous breakfast. Helpful staff.

I liked everything about this place. My room very comfortable and with a private balcony and a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and informative - and lastly, they had a good selection for breakfast compared to other places have stayed in Sicily.

Excellent hotel, very nice comfortable room with fully equipped modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and service from all the staff was very good.

Nothing to complain about the hotel. However the street entrance, which is shared, needs to be upgraded to the same level of the interior of the hotel. Also maybe some tea/coffee facilities in room would further improve it.

Great, reasonably priced hotel in the center of the action. Nice rooms, quiet, great staff and a nice breakfast. What more do you want?

Very nice B&B with kind nad helpfull staff. Excelent breakfast, clean room and nice location to visit the city centre (20 min) or historic site (10 min). We have parked our car nearby for free. We ate pizza in nearby restaurant Siculish and the one with mortadela and pistacio was incredible. Warmly recommended.

The location is great, within walking distance to all the sights. The hotel is very clean and cozy, the room has a minibar, very spacious shower room and fast free internet connection. There is a possibility to park a car for free along the street with plenty of free spaces. The breakfast was excellent, satisfying any taste. The staff is very professional, helpful and it is obvious that they love what they do.
