Hotel Gargallo

When we arrived it was fine, a nice big space.

The hotel lost electricity both nights we were there. As a result we couldn’t charge devices, take showers in the light or use the hair dryer. It also impacted breakfast. No hot dishes or drinks were available. The power loss was a result of the cyclone and not the hotel’s fault. However, they were not helpful in finding solutions.

In the heart of the old city, lovely stay. Great breakfast which was included.

Our 2 twin bed room was adequate but needed fresh paint, improved shower / descaling and general updating. Beds were comfortable enough

Room and location to most of the city

The food that was meant to be hot was cold and when telling the staff they dismissed us and said, no its warm.

The breakfast was very good and there was a good gluten free selection. The hotel is in a very good location easy to get to the market and to the promenade.

Its very uncomfortable not to be able to throw the toilet paper in the toilet. Did not expect that in a 3 Star hotel!At 3 am, there were cats fighting and crying outside my window that could be heard even with the windows closed. Had to get up and shout at them to go away as they went on for 10 mins!

Cute cottage with beautiful rooms with large windows and summery vibes. The breakfast was also very nice. The fridge is super useful, especially during summer months to store your drinks in to enjoy them nice and cold at arrival.

The blinds are all the insulation provided so if it's noisy outside, you'll hear everything as if it were happening next to you. Also, at arrival, there were works going on next-door which meant we had no water for several hours. We weren't given a schedule or time when it would be finished but luckily by 17:00 they were done and water returned so we could wash the sea grime off. Communication could definitely improve concerning this singular occurrence.

The hotel has very good location. Breakfast was also good. Our first room had a plumbing problem and some noise from an outside air conditioning unit. We were immediately offered another room which we accepted.

We didn’t like having to deal with the above issues but the staff responded very well.

Hot water in the bathroom, you had to wait way too long.No lift in the hotel although it did not effect us.

The location was great and the car valet was efficient. I was a little concerned about this arrangement but Denise at the reception desk was very helpful. She is professional and very approachable with any questions you might have. The breakfast was very good with a nice assortment and beautifully arranged. The young lady serving was very friendly and accommodating.

Central location with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Lovely suite with a separate room for our granddaughter. Delicious breakfast.

Very good little hotel in the center of Syracuse, the beautiful old town of Ortigia. The room was comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff is helpful and friendly.

It's a hotel but has a b&b vibe. Not many rooms, very nicely furnished.Great location
