Hotel Rendsburg

Nice place for the bicycles with electric out the back. There is no staff or bar when checking into the hotel. A machine in the basement will allow you to buy a cold drink.

The staff was very friendly. The room was a good size and clean. The breakfast was simple and traditional German—good, but nothing special. The location was as good as it gets for Rendsburg. There was plenty of free parking available right in front of the hotel and all around. We stayed for just one night during our road trip but would definitely choose this hotel again.

Great location near the town centre and free parking outside. The Croatian restaurant down the road was excellent too.

The hotel is very close to the train station, less than five minutes walking. I booked fairly late in the evening due to a train cancellation, the staff was not only able to accommodate but was on site to welcome me. The single room was spacious and so was the bathroom which even had a towel heater.

The room was not heated when I arrived. Nevertheless it took less than 30 minutes for the room to be at the right temperature.

Nice non-assuming hotel near the railroad station. Clean practical rooms, no artificial parfums---a disease of many big brands, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Clean and modern room, comfortable bed. The restaurant made an excellent pizza.

No lift, so for travellers with heavy bags, request a lower floor.

Breakfast was ok. If you were late you’d miss the boiled or scrambled egg. No chef on site. Good garden to store bikes. Can’t fault the cleanliness- v clean.

Location was ok once you worked out how to reach the hotel. Rather lacking in warmth or character. Shower seemed to leak water onto bathroom floor. Bit of a flood each time.

Very nice and clean room, very friendly service, and a nice location (downtown, yet great traffic connections) for visiting Rendsburg. We'd definitely consider this place again for future stays in the area.

Owner stayed up very late to welcome me as I had lots of delays getting there. Even though I didn't use it, I liked the idea of the fridge where you could help yourself to a drink after the bar had closed, presumably on an honesty system.

Sarcastic comments from the lady at breakfast when I had the temerity to take cutlery from the buffet rather than from my own table. I couldn't see how it really made any difference.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast area was small, choice limited, however breakfast was of good quality. There is sufficient parking space in the area (free).

Adequate if unremarkable breakfast. Good space for bike parking. Hotel easy to find and well placed for the old town.

Access involved some key juggling because the staff were not always on-site.
