Kildare House Hotel

Attended the curragh races, hotel most central accommodation, beautiful decor and rooms the most friendly welcoming staff and food was delicious. Will most definitely return again. Carol& Lorraine x

No lift, but the very helpful man on Reception carried both our bags up to our room.

Breakfast was brilliant. Staff were very friendly and so helpful. This was our second visit and we will definately be back again. PG

I liked everything

Food was good room was clean and comfy, staff nice and helpful. liked the idea of having a separate bar and restaurant other than the pub restaurant and bar.

never got a receipt for the food bill at the end of my stay when checking out, I was told it would be sent as an Email but was not sent, as this was a business trip, this will cause me aggravation in the office.

Very comfortable beds - spacious cosy rooms. Breakfast has both menu and help yourself options included. They were really tasty!! Great options to eat in the evening too. Complimentary water, tea and biscuits in room were welcomed.

Parking is problematic so be prepared to have to walk. Not ideal when your room is also on the top floor as it was exhausting at the end of a day of travelling.Rooms are tired and dated but the reception and restaurant look to have been recently modernised so hopefully the rest will follow suit.

Gem of a hotel located in the heart of Kildare town, family run and the personal touches were second to none from staff, decor and to the food in the on site restaurant Soul Burger. Good choice of options for breakfast in the beautiful Gallops restaurant. Would highly recommend exceeded 5 stars, very hard to find any fault!

Location on a main street- cars audible at night. Clean facility but carpeting throughout was worn and a bit dirty.

The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy. It was nice to be so centrally located in town, close to restaurants and shops. The staff was quite helpful and kind. It was lovely to have a bathtub.

A neighboring guest came back to their room quite late at night and with their heavy steps, it felt as though they were walking around in my room and jolted me.

paid for double room, so small no space what so ever in the room window opening out into hall way down stairs not to the outside no idea how the room is allowed to be used

The staff were lovely and very accomodating. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was lovely.

Honestly, it met every recommendation I had. No issues whatsoever. Would definitely stay again.

Very quiet evening time which was good very comfortable rooms small but perfect for 2.

Everything was perfect.

Room was very clean. It's a little bit small for 3 persons.Evening meal excellant and so were all staff. Breakfast cereals and juices perfect. Fry not so good Bacon dry and hard.

The fry part of the Breakfast was poor.

The atmosphere of the hotel, the good customer service and breakfast.

Did not like the fact that there was no elevator and no assistance in carrying luggage up the stairs.

Expected better quality room for the price paid. No hot water until eventually found someone to complain to.

Very basic room

Our experience was not the usual: we had just arrived in country and needed rest, peace and quiet. Objectives achieved. Thank you our stay, however brief (six hours).

All was good.

We thought that we had booked a rate that included breakfast but the Hotel said that we did not.

Third Floor room and no elevator.
