Westgrove Hotel

Lovely hotel. Clean rooms. Staff very friendly. Nice pool. Will definitely come back to try the food as we only had breakfast as dinner completely booked in bar and restaurant

There was renovations happening which we were unaware, bedrooms were freezing and staff at breakfast were inattentive even when there was 2 other families in the restaurant .

First room offered was a little cold, window didn’t close fully (and there was noise outside).Pleasant staff were amenable to sorting a change of room without any fuss..

I highly reccomend The Westgrove Hotel. I have been here since the 16th of December. I cannot fault one thing. This is a home away from home. From the wonderful ladies in reception the General manager, to the hospitality sraff security leisure and housekeeping, I have been blessed with a second to none stay. As my stay has been to be near my mum and her nursing home everyone here made a very emotional time for me especially over christmas beyond commendable. Wow. Congratulations on in my opinion the BEST hotel in Co. Kildare

The hotel was too warm

The room was nice

I was on my own. For breakfast I was placed at a table in the bar area on my own. No one else was sat in this area.One of the lifts worked when it felt like! Had to keep placing the access card to get the light to go green. Also was not able to select the floor I wanted most times. I had to go to the floor above and walk down a flight to get to my room.

The staff were just fabulous, couldn't do enough for us, room was very clean and comfortable and the location for us, could walk in to town, there was music in the bar and there was a great atmosphere there for the Christmas, will use this hotel again.

Couldn't find any fault in this hotel

I liked that the atmosphere was really nice and that the staff were really welcoming throughout our stay. I really appreciated even though I booked this in November they still remembered it was our 5th year anniversary and left us a surprise cake and chocolate in the room it was truly appreciated so bravo to the staff who made that happen it made our day.

I didn't like that downstairs in the shower facilties even in the room also or downstairs at leisure club there was no shampoo etc considering the price was high for the room. I also expected Netflix on the telly in this day and age rte and channel 4 was grand but it would have been nice to have the option that the only thing I would suggest differently.

Breakfast was lovely huge variety of foods plenty of fresh fruit, juices, yogurts and of course full Irish Breakfast really enjoyed

We were at a wedding and drinks reception was in the landing second floor we stood for over three hours definitely could make a difference if seating more central so people can still chat and not to have to move away to sit our legs felt it especially when in high heels

Staff were lovely rooms were comfy and food was great

Lack of vegetation options for breakfast and in general .

Large comfortable bedroom.

I don't like tea or coffee, one breakfast supervisor refused to serve me hot chocolate with my breakfast saying I would have to pay extra. For a family friendly hotel in this price range hot chocolate should be a standard option with breakfast.

Rooms were big and spacious, nice bathrooms. But floors a bit confusing...lots of corridors. Food was good, staff were very nice.
