The bed was comfortable

Very basic facilities in the room, mirror not clean. Super basic bathroom despite the size, no hand cream, conditioner, face cloths etc heated towel rail not on so morning shower had damp towels. Shower is in the bath with an anti slip .bath mat.

The food was lovely

The hotel lacked character and atmosphere . We ended up having our evening meal with about 6 people in the restaurant on a Saturday evening in a 4 star hotel ! . By the time the meal was over we were there with 2 other people . !

A beautiful place where we enjoyed a quiet room and a Christmassy atmosphere. The food was delicious (new chef, new food menu), and the service was impeccable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

the rooms are very comfortable with extremely clean facilities The dinner and Breakfast were excellent beautiful golf course and the grounds around the hotel and very very nice

Was there for a wedding was dear for one person but beautiful room/ facilities/breakfast

When we entered our room It smelled fresh and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The bathing facilities are a combination bathtub shower. The step into the bathtub is fairly high and would be difficult for anybody with any type of handicap. There is one small handicap bar to grab onto, but injury exit would still be difficult for anybody with limited mobility.

It was clean and the room was very nice with a balcony.

It was very hot in the room and we had no window to open and let in some cool air. Also breakfast was just a buffet.

Room was comfortable and clean . Staff were friendly and helpful. Grounds were lovely and setting was nice

Food was average. Breakfast very basic . Very little left later in morning. Could do with more variety and cater for vegetarian .lacked leisure facility and pool.

Location

We attended for a wedding and stayed in the hotel. Breakfast was cold and hotel overall was understaffed. When we checked in I had paid in full 5 day previous and this was confirmed when checked in. On check out they were looking for payment. No management on site. I confirmed payment via show my bank account and also confirmed via booking.com. Rooms were not as expected. Darragh worked on the bar throughout the wedding and he was fantastic.

Room was very spacious, I really like a decor very home feeling . Bed was very comfy and big .Bathroom was clean and nice size too. Kettle and coffee option in room was nice option too. And I like an idea of a refill water bottle from a water station in the corridor . Water was very tasty . I didn't had chance to check all facilities and breakfast as my stay was short but I will Im sure they will reach my expectations definitely I will be back for a longer stay . M

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Temperature in hotel was very uncomfortably hot unfortunately. When we asked , we were told that people had complained about aircon over them in the bar area so it was turned off. Made breakfast in restaurant and lunch in bar uncomfortable

Staff were so friendly everywhere. Grounds of the hotel were amazing . One little thing though , we were a group of 5 and our glasses were not cleared from the table all night. The same for every table there . It just looked messy ?

Beautiful building and surroundings with a lovely bedroom. Breakfast was superb and nothing we disliked.

Breakfast was great and such a choice.we were offered 2nd lot of teas and coffee and they also had gluten free bread.for my sister in law.staff were friendly and helpful and made conversation with us

My room wasn't ready even after an hour there but they did offer us another room and an apology to us was given.

The place was spotless. Staff was great bar food was excellent beds were very comfortable ant fault the place

Welcome by the front of house staff was first class.Breakfast staff were super.

Room was a tad cold whe I arrived, within 30 mins the radiators were on and heated the room.

The staff were lovely

The room needed a bit of love and attention, went for dinner in the bistro the staff were so attentive but the food wasn’t great!

Hidden gem. Great space around & throughout, comfortable clean rooms, place was warm. Friendly staff and food was lovely, both for evening dinner and breakfast. Will be staying again if in/around the area. Accessible as well for major motorways. Thanks again ???
