- Quick check in service. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was very tasty with plenty to offer. Lots of staff so not left waiting for service.
- The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was great for children but equally there was an adult only pool and there were great facilities for adults around the pool. The children’s club and movie night were great for the children
- Staff were lovely. Kids loved the pool. Our remote didnt work and a lovely woman came straight away to fix it. Location was perfect
Cons -
- No live entertainment in the bar. Would liked to have eaten dinner at the bar or restaurant however the prices were very expensive so opted to eat in the town instead.
- The only thing we didn’t like was the dinner menu. It was very expensive for what the meals consisted of.
- No Internet on TV and couldn't screen share from my phone. We found the restaurant very expensive for what we got. 1 fruit skewer with 6 piece of fruit was €7.

Newly refurbished rooms and bathrooms. Excellent brakfast and food in Arkle restaurant. Friendly helpful staff and great location
Lovely stay comfortable clean lovely Leisure facilities.Very Child friendly.
Staff were amazing, the hotel is very clean, the food was fantastic.
The place had a good energy as it caters for local clientele using the gym and deli/cafe and the bar. The decor was new and inviting on the ground floor in particular.
The corridor between reception and the conference area which led to our rooms smelled of cigarette smoke so badly that we could almost smell it on our clothes and feel it in our longs afterwards.
Warm, welcoming and beautiful interior
Confusing way to find your way to bedrooms! Some were up a lift, ours was down a long corridor then a lift and then another long corridor, with many bags to carry it was unwelcome
Friendliness of staffs in Reception on arrival, it's a hotel one can actually relax in, it is in walking distance of bars and restaurants, easy to access from the motorway, adjacent to train station! 5 minutes walk.
I have stayed many times in this hotel, on this occasion I was surprised to see there was no extra blanket, the weather had turned really cold. . BUT the bedroom was warm and comfortable. Bathroom and bed linen pristine, sheets crisp and towels soft. I personally do not like pump dispensers in any hotel bathrooms but they are a necessity no less.
Lovely staff and fantastic facilities in a great location.
Room was a bit cold at night maybe heating is on a timer. Food was lovely but very limited dinner menu.
Playroom , games room were brilliant . Staff were so pleasant
I loved it all had a great time
Staff were polite
We were loudly awoken by drilling and construction work at 7am. We were not notified that this would be happening otherwise we wouldn't have chosen to stay here especially as we were attending a funeral that day and needed the rest. After calling down to reception, they were apologetic but the drilling continued into the morning. The heat in the room was also unbearable and we were told that there was nothing they could do to turn it down. We had to leave a window open that didn't even open the whole way. Not the best start to a sad day for our family
Staff were very friendly, room was clean.
We should have been warned about building works currently being carried out. Our first morning (the day of a family funeral) we were woken by loud drilling at 7am! This is not acceptable! Also, family room, although had 3 beds was only set up for 2 people with towels, cups, etc.
It was convenient to were we were going,it had parking for the guests, the breakfast was first class, also the children’s facility was great with a great swimming pool.
Just a preference the room was very warm, would have liked it slightly cooler, though there was a fan in room which I made good use of
Everything was brilliant & the staff were so helpful and pleasant. They had little welcome backs for the children which were very well received. Room was great size and loved the access to extra facilities like the pools and fitness centre. Eduarda at reception was so welcoming and friendly.
breakfast was lovely and had dinner in the hotel too and the food quality was excellent and the service was brilliant by all the staff that we meet over the course of my stay
was a little busy at breakfast but the staff were great at managing it
Kids club was the main reason we came. It's free and supervised on Sat from 4pm-5.45 and 7.15-21.30. the hotel was full of families with little kids.
Our reservation data got leaked, both personal and booking related. We were contacted by multiple spammers having our data. I think we were not the only one as reception was aware of the issue. I guess the hotel is not handling data securely rather than it's a global booking.com leak. We never had such a problem before.Hotel has parking but it was full when we arrived. Spent 30 minutes on the parking waiting for someone to exit.If you want a dinner in a hotel make sure you book it days in advance, as booking after check-in can result in limited or no availability (at least on weekends).
Comfortable stay, spotless rooms and great staff ,
Too many young kids in bar at 11 pm . The swimming pool needs a family changing room as there was young kids in the mens changing room and we were looking for some pub food at 4 pm and the menu was limited ,one coffee machine in breakfast area which had long q,s
Kids club, room size and staff. Vending machines with Calpol and other essentials was a nice touch.
Kids menu in the bar/restaurant was extortionate. Nearly €50 for 2 Kids mains and desserts. We will stay in the hotel again but wont eat here.
would have been fine other...
they could have told us that there were construction taking place so we were having one night away and waking up to drilling and general extrreme noise from 7am. not cool
